Living with Host, Self-Contained
Lovely flat with newly refurbed en-suite and all the elements you need to feel comfortable (washer/dryer included)
The full flat can be rented out for a longer period of time and/or just our spare room (depends if I am in town or not)-- do enquire.
The main room has ensuite and built in closets. Very quiet as it is at the back so there is no road noise.
The spare room is mid-century modern. It has a sofa bed which folds out but this is only comfortable for one person. No road noise either. This is also ensuite.
There is also a cupboard toilet for guests.
UNFORTUNATELY (at the moment, until further notice, due to repairs) there is only one working shower in the flat and it is accessed via the second bedroom... So you need to be comfortable sharing as there is a problem with the hot water in the other one.
The flat is done up to a nice spec and has recently been refurbished.

Guest Parking
There is no parking as this is in the City Centre. There are areas of Newcastle where you can park on the street and then walk back into town and there are paid car garages.
The Area and Transport
This flat couldn't be more centrally located. 4' to theatre, 4' train station, 3' metro etc.... Next to Grainger Market, a covered market, and a Tesco.

Currently you can rent one room (if I am staying in the flat) or book the FULL flat (2 rooms). Make sure you select the correct option.
When it is the whole flat, you have 2 bedrooms to yourself (one room is a fold out sofa bed suitable for 1 person)

A lovely place to stay if you’re working in Newcastle/Gateshead - Tina was a great host and quick to answer any questions I had. Would definitely stay again!

Tina’s flat was the beautiful and exactly as described. Super close to the Theatre Royal so I was able to even come back for meals and a nap between shows. Also conveniently located next to a Tesco, opposite Grainger market which has great produce and little cafe/restaurants when I was too busy to cook. Tina also very kindly bought a rice cooker for the house when I asked if there was one available. Would 100% stay again and can’t reccomend this digs enough!

What a beautiful flat. A lovely space that was very clean and all the facilities were excellent. It is really close to the theatre right in the middle of the city. We felt very at home, a highly recommended stay.

Good flat in a great location. Loved being able to use and replace things in the kitchen. The cleaners had not been so the flat was dirty and we had to change the owners bedding on arrival. Surprised at lack of sympathy from owner, I wouldn’t return

Despite being out of the UK & usually reliable cleaners letting me down, I offered the best solution I could (which included a full refund + a free night staying at the digs!). He didnt respond to messages and now trashes my listing-- disappointing.
Stunning flat, short walk to the Theatre Royal. Would definitely go back.

Close to the theatre but didn’t feel safe walking out of the front door or back on my own due to drunk/homeless people constantly being in the doorway

Thanks Tasha for the review. The flat is in the centre of the City and it can get wild on a Friday or Saturday night. However the front of the apartment has 3 cctv cameras.
Had a lovely week in Tina's apartment, only 5 minutes from the theatre and equipped with anything you could need.

Beautiful flat right in the centre of Newcastle. Tina was really friendly great at communicating and I had everything I needed whilst I was there! Really quiet too even though it’s in the centre.
