Living with Host
Hello!!! Welcome to your home away from home! You’ll be greeted with a very warm welcome from the start, and I hope you’ll feel at home during your stay with myself. My home is located 13 minutes drive/taxi or 35 minutes walk from the city centre in the amazing home of media and arts - Salford!
There are 2 convenience shops around the corner and Tesco, Lidl and Aldi in walking distance (or I can always give you a lift in the car!) or loads of takeaways of you can’t be bothered with all the cooking! On Salford Quays (10 minutes by car/taxi) there are some amazing bars and restaurants, the Imperial War Museum, Lowry Outlet Mall, VUE cinema and also close to Old Trafford - The home of Manchester United!
The room is newly decorated in August 2023 with a brand-new bed, mattress and bedding. The mattress has a mattress topper and is very comfortable, so you will get a good nights sleep after a long day of activities!. There is a wardrobe with separate hanging compartments including new hangers, a hairdryer with diffuser, a desk/vanity dresser with plush chair and an armchair if you fancy going over scripts or even watching your own TV with virgin media package including movies. There’s fast Wi-Fi so you have access to your own devices also.
Bedding and towels are also provided. Fresh bedding is changed if staying for a long period of time upon request and fresh towels twice a week.
I completely understand that privacy and security is really important to guests so your room is solely yours however, you also have access to a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely lounge if you fancy watching TV with me!
The kitchen has everything you need – a cooker, microwave, kettle, cafetière/Nespresso machine, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, and Ninja blender. You will have your own cupboard in the kitchen and I will make some space in the fridge or freezer for you if you need it.
There is a washing machine and tumble dryer which is available to use if needed, just let me know if you do need to use it.
The bathroom is only shared when I need to shower. It has a shower over the bath with a slip mat, WC and sink. You will have sole use of the toilet as I will use the downstairs one.
There is a rear garden area if you need a smoke as the house is smoke and pet free, but the garden is a working progress! Vaping inside is fine.
It is also a short walk to Kersall wetlands if you need to clear your head from the hustle and bustle of work, it’s such a lovely place to go to relax.
I work from home in my bedroom most days so I will be hidden away most of the time! Day guests are allowed, just let me know if anyone is popping over!
Parking is secure on the driveway as there is CCTV around my home and there is also a ring doorbell.

I am within walking distance to Salford Crescent train station which can take you into the city centre.
I very friendly and respectful and I will do my best to ensure you have an amazing and comfortable stay with myself. All I ask in return is that you respect a few house rules:
- Please respect our neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum after 11pm. It’s a residential new build home on a cul-de-sac, and is so quiet and peaceful at night.
-Please take shoes off in the hallway.
-The kitchen is shared, please leave it clean and tidy after you use it and I will do the same :)
I know it can be a little strange at first staying somewhere new however, I would love you to feel assured that this is a safe and welcoming place to stay. I will of course be around of you need anything, or available on the phone if you need me. If you prefer to be left to it, that’s also good with me lol. I am an LGBTQ+ friendly house, with theatre professional friends that live just across the road! You never know what new connections you’ll make!!
