Living with Host
We live in a beautiful Victorian house backing on to Gippeswyk Park, the original name for Ipswich.
We are literally around the corner from Ipswich Station and a 10 minute walk to the New Wolsey Theatre, 20 minute walk to The Regent Theatre and 10 minutes walk to Gecko's rehearsal space.
We have 2 rooms available which works well if you want to book with a friend.
The Balloon room is a really large double room and the Room with a view is a beautiful small double at the top of the house with an amazing view of Gippeswyk Park.
We also have off road parking on our drive.

We have a drive for parking.
The Area and Transport
We are a 10 minute walk to The New Wolsey Theatre and a half an hour walk to The Regent Theatre.
We are two minutes from Ipswich Station.

You have your own private bedroom. All other areas are communal and shared with hosts. However there are two bathrooms and three toilets.

I had a lovely stay with Shana. A gorgeous room with an amazing view over the park. An easy walk through town to the Regent theatre. Very close to the station and free parking if needed. I’ll definitely be staying again 😊

Jason was a lovely guest to have stay with us, quiet & considerate. We did nit get to see much if him due to both working but he is welcome back anytime.
I had a lovely stay here. It’s such a beautiful home, about 15 minutes walk from the New Wolsey theatre. I stayed in the Room with a View at the top of the house. Very tranquil and the view of the park was so nice to wake up to. The bed was very comfortable. I didn’t see much of my hosts but communication was good and I had everything I needed for my short stay. Would definitely recommend.

It was lovely to meet Susie and I wish I had been able to spend a little more time with her. She was a wonderfully clean and considerate guest and welcome back here anytime.
Shana is a really lovely host. I was in the room with a view. On the plus sides there was a desk where I could work and plenty of space for my belongings. Only downsides were that the mattress was not comfortable (I could feel springs digging into me) and the room was very cold so wouldn't recommend in autumn winter months/cold weather. Other than that the room with a view was really quiet which is always great.

Apologies for the bed. It is actually brand new so wasn’t expecting the mattress to be uncomfortable. Realising that the room is a little colder than the others I am taking it off of Digs Booker altogether now.
Lovely stay, will definitely be back!

Shana was the best host imaginable! Thoughtful, caring and left us to do our own thing. She was so supportive and interested in what we were up to and a lovely attentive host. Was a pleasure to stay here and felt very at home.

Shana is an exceptional digs host, her support and attention to detail made my stay in Suffolk all the more memorable! Her gorgeous house is just a stones throw from the station and local amenities, it’s comfortable and has a beautiful garden! Would 100% recommend to any actor looking for a safe haven to live whilst working in Ipswich!

I had the loveliest stay in Shana's beautiful house. She was a fantastic and warm host, nothing was too much trouble. Felt really welcome and at home. Perfect location for working with Gecko, and I loved my view of the park in the morning! Would 100% recommend, thank you X

I had such a lovely stay. Shana is a warm and caring host. Her house is beautiful and my room was very comfortable. Only a 15min bus journey (£1.50) or a 30 min walk from the regent theatre. Super close to the train station which was really handy. Thanks for the lovely chats and stay! All the best x

Had such a lovely stay with Shana! She was very welcoming and so kind, and the house itself is lush. I was in the balloon room and there was so much space! Clean and tidy, comfy bed, just all around great. Easy to get to both theatres too. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

I had a lovely restful stay in Shana's gorgeous home. The room is huge and the bed very comfortable. The house is well located for Gecko - just a 15 minute walk away through the park. Shana is super friendly and welcoming. Would stay again.

A lovely and spacious room (and wonderfully comfortable bed) in an elegant house very close to the railway station and about a twenty minutes walk to the Regent theatre. Hardly saw my hosts but communication was excellent throughout.

Shana was such a wonderful host who went above and beyond to warmly welcome me into her home. The room is comfortable, clean, and quiet with any amenities you need, and the location is very conveniently close to the station and by Gecko's rehearsal space.

ENORMOUS very comfortable room, bed was great and Shana looked after me, I can't thank her enough although she barely saw me (odd theatre hours). I'd definitely stay again :)

Quiet peaceful huge room very comfy bed, Shana is lovely & the walk to Wolsey Theatre is 10-15 mins depending on you, I drive but if you don’t it’s literally around the corner from Ipswich train Station, an easy walk to the new Ipswich Waterfront
