Living with Host

What does this mean?

An Edwardian terraced house. It's like a tardis behind the front door, characterful and nicely decorated. We aren't self contained, but as good as once you're upstairs! Great sunsets from the living room window. Quiet and not too far from town.

Guest Parking

There is unrestricted and free street parking outside the house though we can't guarantee immediately outside all of the time due to parking by visitors to our neighbours. That said, wherever you park in the road will be a short step to our house.

The Area and Transport

We are a short walk to bus stops for transport into town for the theatres - about 20/30mins traffic dependant. Handy for The Everyman Theatre, The Playhouse, Liverpool Empire and Royal Court and the new and very beautiful Shakespeare North Theatre in Prescot and also St Helens Royal. Trains are available to Prescot and St Helens from Wavertree Technology Park, a 20 mins walk away though a car would be better for those theatres. The Philharmonic Hall is also about 20/30 mins for any visiting musicians.
There's a Tesco Express on the corner of the road and a small Asda in the other direction, and late night pizza places as you get off the bus. Plenty of places to eat both in town and locally on Smithdown and Allerton Roads and also Wavertree High Street.

You have exclusive use of the whole of the top floor with your own bathroom and separate living room.

Excluded Facilities

Guests are welcome to use the kitchen and sit and have a drink with us in our living room or in the 'yarden' which is very nice when the sun shines. The family bathroom on the middle floor is not for guest use, but there is a downstairs toilet which can be used for eg if you're cooking and need to use the loo without having to dash upstairs. You can also use the dining room or kitchen to eat in if you don't want to carry food upstairs. And of course there's a microwave and mini fridge upstairs. So there's plenty of options.

Heather was kind, attentive and welcoming from the minute I got in the door, an absolutely wonderful host throughout! The digs are spacious, comfortable, in a great location for public transport into the city. I would definitely recommend this digs to others working in Liverpool.

Thank you Heather for such a great stay! These digs are practically self contained, with a lovely clean room, fantastic en suite, cooking facilities and the entire floor to yourself. Easy bus ride/drive into the city centre. Everything I could need is here, not to mention Heather is a lovely, friendly host! Would absolutely recommend.
