What does this mean?

Airy top floor flat on the 6th floor with great views across Manchester and Salford from the balcony. Your room is a double painted in a zesty tangerine shade, like a holiday in Tuscany. The flat is brightly decorated with a smattering of quality mid-century furniture, and you'll have full-access to the kitchen-lounge, and your own bathroom as I have an en-suite.

I'm a forty-something queer producer working in the arts who is happy to share a glass of a wine and a chinwag, or watch some trash TV together. I tend to work from home as my job is based in another city, so i'm here a lot.

Im a meat-eater but not a huge cook, and the kitchen isn't set up for "serious" cooking but there's an induction hob, an air fryer and a microwave.

Guest Parking

On street parking around Salford and Manchester is tough. There are single yellow lines outside the apartment which you cannot park on between 9am and 11am. It's fair game after but competitive.

Cleminson St Car Park, Salford M3 6AY is 0.4 miles away and is the cheapest parking spot. NCP Salford New Bailey is the nearest major carpark and is 0.5 miles away from the apartment. If you want to drive to Manchester and leave your car for a few days, I can arrange a safe parking spot 0.5 miles away at a friends place for a fee. The flat itself has a gated car park in which I may be able to negotiate a short term space hire with the management company.

The Area and Transport

Based just off Chapel Street in Salford, the apartment is close to Manchester City Centre and well connected on foot and by electric bike, Lime scooter and easy bus routes to major theatres. You'll be right next door to Islington Mill, which houses several artist studios, a cafe and a deli selling vegetarian treats. Chapel Street itself has amazing coffee spots, cafes and eateries such as Porta Tapas Bar, Lekker, Procaffeinated and Kith + Kin.

A short walk away there are local co-op shops, and a little further you'll find a major Sainsbury's and a JD Gym.
