The property is situated just off Bishopthorpe Road, a bustling street offering an array of independent cafes, bars and shops. Just a 10 minute walk into the centre of York, the train station, and the racecourse.

Had a lovely stay at Lorna’s home. Super comfy bed. Wonderful host. Never got to see her much as she has long working hours so the flat was more or less to myself most of the day. Will definitely be staying again!

Such a lovely space that smelt incredible! Lovely walk to the grand opera house with great cafes along the way. Lorna is so lovely and accommodating! Definitely would recommend!

Highly recommend staying here when in York! Was only a 15minute walk to the theatre which felt very safe at night and a Sainsbury’s local was within a minute from the digs. I had the space to myself most of the week & Lorna was a great host and was quick at responding if I needed anything. Really enjoyed my stay! :)

Fab stay in York! The flat was in a great location, really handy for buses and for the Barbican where I was playing. Lorna messaged me in the morning with the key box code and all the details, and let me know I could check in whenever, which was especially helpful as I didn’t have time to get in between my rehearsal and the show. The flat was impressively spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Would happily stay again!
