Cosy house, in a brilliant location, just yards from Ilford Road Metro Station (8 minute ride into town), or 20 minute walk. Local shops, and lots of great restaurants and bars nearby. Smoking in the garden. If your booking starts on a Sunday please arrive after 6pm.

TV in room. Loft rooms share one bathroom/loo, middle floor rooms share another bathroom with loo, plus additional separate toilet. No trainers or rubber soles shoes please as they “eat” carpets and mark wooden floors (it’s true!😝)

Brilliant digs and a really lovely host!

I really enjoyed my stay and didn't want to leave. On street parking and really easy/quick metro trip into town. Lovely warm and comfy room and probably one of the best digs I have stayed in.

Really good Digs for anyone coming to Newcastle area. Dawn is a great host, and her home and all the rooms are lovely.

The Metro is quick and easy to get into town or it's a lovely 20min walk on a dry day.

Great location, great house, great host!

You can walk to work, but if you can't be bothered, the Metro is literally on the doorstep, and it's only a 10 minute journey into the city centre.

Probably the best digs I have stayed at. The house is beautifully decorated and the rooms are cosy and quiet.
