IMPORTANT- PLEASE NOTE
DUE TO FAMILY CIRCUMSTANCES AND REQUIREMENTS WE CAN NO LONGER TAKE BOOKINGS FOR A SINGLE NIGHT NOR LONGER THAN 14 days STAY SO REQUESTS FOR LONGER THAN THIS PERIOD WILL BE REJECTED. (The main reason for this is that we do ‘theatre digs’ as a great hobby, love the theatre, and enjoy meeting new people. It is certainly and not for the income it provides. We now find though that long bookings intrude into our life and holiday plans too much)

We live about one and half miles from Leicester City centre in a leafy pleasant suburb in the village of Evington. 40 mins walk into town or a local 10 minute bus ride. Taxi about £6.
Our 5 bed 1930's detached house is occupied by a married couple in late 50's.
There is a spare big double bedroom and a big spare bathroom (bath shower sink and toilet) on one side of the house. This room is vacant and suitable for short term occupation. The room are well appointed with cupboards and drawers flatscreen tv and DVD player. Room has centrally heating and extra electric radiator if required.
There is free wifi and there is no time curfew. ( Own key provided) Use of all the downstairs kitchen dining facilities including fridge freezer washing machine are available. No food is provided (apart from tea/coffee etc)
There is ample car parking available on the front driveway.
The nearby village (5 minutes walk) has shops post office chemist and supermarket plus pubs takeaways etc.
House is nice and quiet.
Room has double bed - Normally one person in the room but double occupancy is quite ok if required.
Smokers MUST go outside to smoke - NO smoking indoors. NO pets. guests allowed by prior agreement.

Nick and Karen are great hosts, so incredibly welcoming with a beautiful house and garden. House is a good location for bus to the theatre but busses do stop running around 10.30pm- not too far for an uber though

Had a lovely stay here with Karen and Nick whilst at Leicester Curve. Comfortable bed in a large room, private bathroom next door with powerful shower. Was approx. a 40 mins brisk walk into Curve, but there are buses nearby and an Uber was about £6 back at night. Would very gladly return again in the future, thanks!
