Living with Host

What does this mean?

The rooms are quiet, at the top of the house, and share a shower room and toilet. It’s a Victorian terrace with full shared access to the kitchen and garden. It’s a pleasant, safe walk to the town centre and the two theatres.

Guest Parking

Parking is on street, and permit only (we can supply them). There is on street free parking within 10 minutes walk. However, you are not likely to use your car in York during your stay. It’s a great city for walking and cycling.

The Area and Transport

We’re in a street full of cafes and shops within 15 minutes walk of the station and both theatres.

I had a brilliant stay with Barbara and Mike! The house is beautiful, the room is great and you pretty much have your own private bathroom. Nice, scenic walk to Theatre Royal. Really enjoyed my time there and the lovely chats with Barbara and Mike :)
