Two Bedroom Self-Contained House (York)

Cosy home from home, just 15-25 mins walk along the river to the centre of York (including York Theatre Royal and Grand Opera House).

There are two bedrooms (1 King, 1 Double), a stylish shower room (no bath), with a fully equipped kitchen, dining space, living room, a sun-trap back yard - and of course full wi-fi. You’ll have the whole house to yourselves, so we suggest that this is perfect for 2 people who want to share digs.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay including a kettle, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, washer-dryer, dishwasher and even a frozen margarita machine! There is a large flat screen TV, sofa and arm chairs. Full bed linen, towels and complimentary toiletries are also provided.

The house is within easy walking distance of the railway station, all the theatres, and the city centre, with unrestricted free parking on the street outside. The area is perfectly safe, but there are also good public transport links, and plenty of reasonable taxi companies for those who prefer not to walk back after dark.

There is an excellent local pub ’The Leeman Rose’ less than 5 mins walk from the house, and various corner shops for any essentials, or larger shops 5-10 mins drive away in Clifton Moor.

Please note that the stairs in the house are a little steep, so not suitable for those with mobility issues. Check-in after 16:00; checkout before 10:00 please to allow for COVID-safe cleaning.

When we’re not away working, this is mine and my husband’s home, and we hope it will be your home from home during your stay in York - a city which we love!
