Entire two bedroom self-contained apartment in the centre of Aberdeen.
These digs occupy a large maisonette apartment over the 5th and 6th floors of Thistle Court, a high rise on Thistle Street/Huntly Street, just a short walk from Union Street, a major street and shopping thoroughfare.
Both bedrooms are fully furnished and have comfortable double beds. One bedroom has balcony access which is shared with other properties. The lounge is large in size and has a large window providing natural light. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, under counter fridge/freezer and washer/dryer.
The bathroom has a new electric shower (installed Sept 2023) and the bathroom has been recently renovated. The apartment is carpeted with a thick pile carpet, with the exception of the lounge and kitchen.
Despite occupying the 5th and 6th floors, the 5th floor can be accessed by two serviced lifts, or stairs.
Union Street is a short 4 minute walk, with access to bus routes across the city.
His Majesty's Theatre and the Music Hall are extremely nearby, both being only a 6 minute walk.
The Train Station/Bus Station are located at Union Square, only a 5 minute drive/15 minute walk. Union Square is Aberdeen's largest shopping centre which is boasts a wide selection of shops, restaurants and has a 10 screen Cineworld cinema.
Check-in is extremely easy - keys can be collected from the Ibis Hotel (Shiprow), facilitated by the KeyNest service. This is particularly useful for guests who plan to arrive late or are unable to give an estimated time of arrival.
There is no free parking at the property however I have previously allowed guests to use my driveway (Kaimhill, Aberdeen). There are direct busses between my home and the digs however I can give you a lift between the two if I'm available. Please give me as much notice as possible if you plan to use my driveway so that I can make space! There are both on-street parking and multi-storey car parks near to the digs however they are both pay and display. Please do not use the gated car parks on Rose Place - you risk your car being locked in for extended periods. These spaces are owned by tenants and must not be used by.
