Living with Host

What does this mean?

A warm welcome awaits you, in the sought after and extremely convenient location of Stoneygate shops with a friendly community. Peaceful room overlooking the garden. My house is located a desirable location with a variety of a cafes/tearooms/shops/chemist, newsagent all on the doorstep with a co-op around the corner. The accommodation is a mid terraced Victorian house. The kitchen, bathroom and guest room have all been recently refurbished and decorated. The house has also recently been fully double-glazed with windows and door restored in keeping with the property.

The kitchen has a breakfast bar overlooking the garden. With a patio for use in the warmer months! Washing machine, dishwasher, microwave. Log burner in living room. WiFi, All bed linen and towels also provided.

The Guest room has a Queen size double bed overlooking the garden, with the original fireplace. Desk/dressing table, under bed storage and hanging rail available.

35 minutes walk from Curve Theatre. 20 minutes walk from De-Montfort Hall. 25 to mainline train station.
Frequent bus service (about 10 minutes) to the city or easy cab ride.

The street is a Cul de sac one-way road, so no through traffic past my house. Whilst there are lovely shops, bars, restuarants on the doorstep, the area is very peaceful at night and on Sundays.
The area is very friendly and free parking is available on the street near the house. Further up the road parking is limited in the day. But lots of other roads nearby with free 24/7 parking available too.

I'm out working in the day and some evenings too.
Tea/coffee/milk provided. Basic breakfast needs can be provided but please request on booking.

I absolutely loved staying with Jo, she is such a wonderful host and I really enjoyed her company (and our chats over tea!). Her house felt like a home away from home, was very comfy and very clean. I always enjoyed returning after a busy day! Jo was great at communicating and nothing was too much trouble for her. I would HIGHLY recommend staying with Jo, I look forward to staying again one day. I had a lovely stay with Joanne. The room was clean and tidy and the kitchen/bathroom areas were too. It is a 40 min walk to the curve theatre but if you drive or have a bike it wouldn't be too bad. I would stay again
