I live in a quiet cul de sac in a residential area. It is about a 15 minute iwalk nto the City centre. Lovely views of the city and of the sunset.

There is a daytime bus to town a few yards away. A City Hopper. Bus 484.

Across the road via a short footpath there is a lovely walk to the Hamlet of St. Clements where there is a pretty church situated on the Truro river.

My home is a three story house. The ground floor bedroom has use of the adjoining TV lounge and conservatory ( not heated in winter ) which opens onto the patio, as does the bedroom. Access is through the conservatory - please leave your shoes there.

My 2 week stay here was interesting to say the least. A very cluttered and messy house. The cutlery was dirty, Stella would leave food and utensils on the side with unwashed things in the sink leaving no room. The floor was gross and I only just managed to get cupboard, fridge and freezer space. This was not worth the money at all, very disappointing. The bedroom and en-suite was fine, the conservatory is full of plants and little flies, wouldn’t recommend eating in there which was the space to.

Really enjoyed my stay. Stella is a very warm and considerate host and also easy to talk to. The room itself had a good bed and it was a treat to have an en-suite bathroom with shower.

A lovely room, on a separate floor from the rest of the house, with it's own entrance. Great views over Truro. Stella was a great host. I had a great two weeks. Would recommend.

I had a lovely stay at Stella’s, the room was really nice, very comfy bed and the bathroom was good, although I never managed to get to grips with the scalding hot shower.
The key to the patio door didn’t work and so I didn’t have my own entrance as advertised.
A very steep walk up the dark hill past the cemetery and rugby club proved to be a challenge at the end of the night, but a taxi from the theatre is around £8.
There is a coffee machine in the room, with coffee pods which was a nice touch

Stella is a lovely host, the bedroom ensuite is fine, but was a bit cold at this time of the year being a garden room with no heating. The bed is great and duvet, super warm.

Comfortable bed and having an en suite and your own entrance / double door opening onto the garden is so good . Steep walk back from the hall for Cornwall but only 25 mins in and back x would highly recommend

Really warm and lovely house. Clean and welcoming. Never got to meet Stella unfortunately but still made me feel welcome nonetheless. Close to the theatre and town but at the top of a rather steep hill (not a problem if you drive).

Really lovely host and everything you could possibly need. Bit of a walk to Hall for Cornwall but not that bad really if the weather is good. Hills a plenty but then that’s the area in general. I would return if I’m back in Truro.

Stella was away on arrival, but her sister was accommodating and on Stella's return, she took over being lovely! Great place to stay. The walk back is a fitness challenge depending on which route is taken though! Would stay again.
