Living with Host

What does this mean?

Three double rooms, sharing a guest bathroom on their own floor of a stunningly beautiful 4 storey Victorian townhouse, situated in the wonderful Dickensian Clifftown conservation area.
Honesty Bar is on the basement level, housed in the dining room/lounge, which you have almost exclusive use of. You can chill out here at any time.
I have my own private suite on the ground floor, so you'll be undisturbed.
We share the large, well equipped kitchen on the basement level, in which you have your own basket space to store dry goods & dedicated fridge space. Good wifi throughout the house.
NOTES: Late night check in isn't available under any circumstances, so please ensure you're able to check in before curtain up on the first night..
When submitting a booking request, note that a 7 night stay is same price as 4 nights so always best to book the week to allow flexibility.

Guest Parking

With prior notice, free visitor parking permits will be supplied for surrounding roads within a few hundred yards. As I can only buy a limited quantity, a little skulduggery using an erasable pen is involved, which I'll explain prior to arrival.
The marked bays in the terrace are pay only.

The Area and Transport

7 mins walk from Cliffs Pavilion.
20 mins walk from Palace Theatre
Southend Central Station (C2C) is a 5 min walk from the house.
Southend Victoria Station (Greater Anglia Abellio) is a 15 min walk.

This space is shared with 1 Host and 2 other paying Guests.

All 3 guest bedrooms, with lockable doors are situated on the guest floor with one guest bathroom.
The guest lounge, with dining area & honesty bar is on the basement level, next to the kitchen which is shared with Ruth, the host.

Excluded Facilities

Host’s Ground Floor suite of bedroom, lounge & bathroom is private.

A fab stay whilst in Southend, spacy and kitted out room, lovely kitchen and patio to chill in and an easy 10 min walk to the Cliffs Pavillion. Ruth is s lovely host and makes you feel welcome. Would love to stay again.
