What does this mean?

It's a one bedroom no-smoking full flat, 3 floors up, no lift.

The spacious bedroom has a double bed and there's also a sofa bed in the living room

In the living-room/kitchen there's a dining table, sofa, chairs and all the kitchen stuff you'd need including microwave. No TV

The shower room is fairly new and I'd advise opening the window when having a shower to let steam out.

All the towels and sheets are kept in the hall cupboard and drawer in shower room. There's no access to the box room.

Black out blinds in all windows.
There's a shared tenement garden space at the back of the building and we're right at the end of Bruntsfield Links and the Meadows, so lots of green space nearby.

It's a quiet cul-de-sac and quiet stair so please do be considerate of my lovely friendly neighbours when coming up and down the stairs.

Guest Parking

Free evening and weekend parking nearby (paid parking during the day). Free parking about 20 minutes walk away.

The Area and Transport

Based in beautiful Bruntsfield at the west-most end of the Meadows, the flat is on a quiet street just off Bruntsfield Place. It's about 5 minutes walk to the King's Theatre, 15 to the Traverse and Lyceum, and 25 minutes to the Festival Theatre. Plenty of buses (11, 15, 16 and 45) into town but not far to walk either. You're basically 20 minutes from everywhere.
You're spoilt for choice for independent cafés and shops, with Morningside just down the road (Great for bougie charity shops). Good pubs nearby too (Bennets Bar and The Argyle being personal favourites).
The view stretches from the Castle itself to Corstorphine Hill and looks out over the Firth of Forth.

Dorothy is a great host. Beautiful apartment, clean, quiet and spacious. Pack light as apartment is on the top floor with no lift access. Comfortable bed, great shower and lovely views from the livingroom. Highly recommend
