Self-Contained
3 lovely self contained rooms situated in a 5 storey Regency home. The rooms benefit from lovely views of Bath. Each room has an integral kitchen comprised of: microwave, small oven with hot plate, fridge, toaster, kettle, china and cutlery. The rooms also have a table, chairs, bedside cabinets and chest of drawers.
Guest Parking
As the house is within the residents zone there is no parking at the house. However, I usually accompany my guests to park their car outside the zone roughly half a mile away, where parking is free of charge.
The Area and Transport
The house is located in the Camden area of Bath, a 15 minute walk to the Theatre Royal Bath and Bath's centre shops and amenities. The number 6 and 7 buses regularly stop close to the house. A taxi ride into the centre is roughly £6.

The fact that Jane and Lennox open their home to touring actors is a delight and honour. A huge amount of thought and effort had gone into putting a working kitchen in my room. I didn't really make use of it - but having been at theatres where a microwave and a kettle were hard to come by, I totally appreciated it. A lovely stay all round. If you don't want to stay in a home, where there is character and history, book a hotel. It will suit your anodyne needs and cost you considerably more money.

I recently had a very poor review for the Green room which was upsetting so Thankyou for your glowing report.
An extremely pleasant stay in this lovely house. Jane was very welcoming and extremely helpful regarding the challenges of parking my car outside the 'residents only' zone! If I say that 'Camden Lodgings' represents good old-fashioned theatrical digs as they should be, I mean it as the highest compliment. Highly recommended.

Jeremy was the perfect house guest and I’m so pleased that he enjoyed his stay with me in Bath. He was a perfect gentleman and left his room very tidy. He stripped his bed and took all his rubbish to the dustbins. He will be very welcome to stay here in the future….
A lovely room, that's in a great location. Self contained is slightly misleading as the bathroom was on the floor below. My room was ok but a colleague did leave due to moths

Self contained refers to the cooking facilities and each room has its own bathroom but none of them are’en suite’ as this a Regency house. The moths have been eradicated with products from Lakeland
I arrived late due to personal matters—not illness—and appreciated the price adjustment. That was the best part.
The host was rude from the start—no welcome, just attitude—so I kept to myself. The room was “okay,” but came with dust, beetles, moths, and questionable kitchen equipment (I cleaned before using anything).
A colleague even left early due to the shower setup, cleanliness, and cat allergies.
Cheap, yes—but I’d stay elsewhere in Bath.

Oh dear Sasha what a pity it has come to this - if only you came to introduce yourself to your host once you had arrived late then we could have ironed out any problems or resentment you managed to build up. i was told that you were late coming to stay due to illness and when we met on the stairs when you crept in on your second evening i was surprised that you had lost your voice - hence my offer of the lemslip. What a pity you didn't communicate more and we could have sorted everything out
It was a joy to spend time here while in Bath. Jane was so hospitable and kind and just a lovely person to meet. The room had everything I could ever need and Jane was always readily available to make sure I was settled. Furthermore on my last day she made a wonderful Lunch and it was a joy to engage in conversation and know her more. She’s amazing. The theatre is a 10-15 minute walk away and the area is beautiful as is the house. Would recommend again and again. Thank you Jane!!
