Shared Space

What does this mean?

West End terraced house, tastefully decorated, cosy, has a little back garden, own shower room, comfortable bedroom with small double bed, shutters to keep light out, bathrobe and slippers, hairdryer and ear plugs, ironed bed linen, feather mattress topper, good towels, walking distance to theatres, close to shops, cafes, bars, public transport.
Hospitable hostess, friendly little dogs.

Guest Parking

Parking has to be paid for (Ringo) and can be hard to find. Not great if you have a car but do-able.

The Area and Transport

A 20 minute walk to Kings Theatre, 2 stops in Underground to Theatre Royal and 5 stops to Citizens Theatre. Bus stop handy for going anywhere. Shops and lots of coffee shops, bars, restaurants wishing 3 mins walk. Parks, galleries and museum all close by.
If you like dogs, two very friendly ones live here.

This space is shared with 1 Host and 1 other paying Guest.

No locks on any rooms. Studio and my bedroom are very much private. Kitchen is available to eat take-away meals, breakfast and making tea or coffee and for chatting to me and the dogs.
As I live here, obviously I’ll be around.

Excluded Facilities

Washing machine and cooking are not technically available but can be discussed on arrival.
Microwave meals are banned…their smell is too awful and almost impossible to get rid of!

Huck is the perfect host, and very literally goes above and beyond for you! The house is in a lovely spot in town. You get your own huge bedroom with access to a separate bathroom for more or less your exclusive use. The theatre royal is about. 25min walk or a 8min cycle on the voi bikes. There are 2 delightful little dogs, Piggy and Bill who thoroughly enjoy scratches behind the ears! X

I’m sad I can only give 5 stars… I have just got back from my stay with Huck and her adorable dogs. She is fantastic, very chilled, and very clear and communicative, the best host you never met. Location was excellent, in the heart of the West End of Glasgow. I felt very looked after and respected during my stay and all communication was very straightforward, which was a blessing during a stressful patch of work. Would 100% stay again. Thank you Huck!
