Goodwood Cinema House: A Modern and Spacious Retreat near Goodwood
Welcome to The Goodwood Cinema House, a stunning and luxurious 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom house with a cinema room, comfortable lounge, orangery dining room, a gorgeous garden, and two double sofas bed that could accommodate an additional four guests. This house is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing and fun-filled holiday near the famous Goodwood Estate, where you can experience thrilling races, events, and festivals.
The house is beautifully decorated and furnished with modern and stylish amenities. You’ll love the spacious and bright living room, where you can relax on the comfortable sofa, watch the large 4k curved smart TV, or enjoy the view of the garden. The sofa becomes a double sofa bed should you need to sleep additional guests.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook delicious meals, including a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, and a washer dryer. The dining area has a large table that can seat 8 people comfortably.
The cinema room is the highlight of the house, where you can watch your favourite movies on a large screen with surround sound. You’ll feel like you’re in a real cinema, with its cosy seats. Just add popcorn and drinks! The cinema room also has a double sofa bed that can be used as an extra sleeping space. You can convert the cinema room into a private bedroom by shutting the doors and closing the glazed integral blinds. This way, you can enjoy more privacy and comfort.
The bedrooms are cosy and comfortable, with high-quality bedding and pillows. The best part is that all three bedrooms can be configured as either king beds or two singles, depending on your preference and needs. You can let us know your preferred configuration when you book, and we’ll make sure to arrange the beds accordingly. All bedrooms come with 32" Smart TVs so you can login to your own streaming accounts and enjoy your favourite shows in bed.
The master bedroom has a two single beds (can convert to a king size), a large ensuite bathroom with shower, and large wardrobes, perfect for storing your Goodwood attire, whether you’re attending the races, the festivals, or the events.
The second bedroom has a king sized bed (can be converted to two single beds) and shares a large family bathroom with bath and shower across the hall.
The third bedroom has a king sized bed (can be converted to two singles) and a luxurious large ensuite bathroom with shower.
Also on the top floor there is a separate small room with window which can hold a travel cot (provided by us). This gives you a quiet, separated place where baby/toddler can sleep, whilst still being just across the landing from the top bedroom.
The garden is a lovely place to enjoy the fresh air and the sun. You’ll find a patio with outdoor furniture, a barbecue grill. You can also play games or sunbathe on the artificial grass.
The property features FTTP (FIbre to the premises) at 1Gbps so WiFi speeds are blisteringly fast perfect for multi-room streaming, teams calls, and remote working.
The house is located in Shopwyke, a quiet and scenic area near the Goodwood Estate, where you can watch exciting races and events at the Goodwood Motor Circuit or the Goodwood Racecourse. You can also visit the Goodwood House, a stunning historic mansion that hosts festivals and exhibitions. You’ll also be close to the charming city of Chichester, where you can explore the Chichester Cathedral, the Chichester Festival Theatre, and the Chichester Harbour. The house is located within walking distance of the Rolls Royce factory thanks to a newly installed foot bridge over the A27.

Chichester Festival Theatre: One of the UK’s flagship theatres, renowned for its high standard of productions as well as its work with the community and young people. The theatre hosts a variety of shows, from musicals to dramas, as well as festivals, workshops, talks, and tours. The theatre is located in Oaklands Park, a short drive or walk away.

Goodwood: A unique sporting estate set in 11,000 acres of beautiful South Downs countryside. Owned by the Dukes of Richmond since 1697, it is famous for three of the biggest events in the social and sporting calendar: the Festival of Speed, the Qatar Goodwood Festival (also known as Glorious Goodwood), and Goodwood Revival. It also hosts other events such as Goodwoof (a dog event unlike any other), Members’ Meeting (a motorsport event for members only), Breakfast Club (a free-to-attend motoring event), and more. Goodwood is only a 15-minute drive from the property.
Rolls Royce: The world-famous luxury motor car manufacturer that has its home at Goodwood near Chichester since 2003. It is the only place on earth where Rolls-Royce cars are designed and built. The company employs more than 2,500 people in the area and contributes around half a billion pounds to the UK economy every year. Rolls Royce is planning a major extension at its site to upgrade its production facilities for its new electric vehicles. Rolls Royce is only a 10-minute drive from the property.
Chichester University: A public university located in West Sussex that became a university in 2005. It has two campuses: one in Chichester city centre and one in Bognor Regis. It offers a range of courses in arts, humanities, social sciences, education, business, sport, engineering, and technology. It is ranked 21st in the UK by the Guardian University Guide 2022 and 10th for student satisfaction by the Complete University Guide 2023. Chichester University is only a 10-minute drive from the property.
The property has excellent road links to the A27 and the Chichester ring road. This enables you to get into town extremely quickly by car. There are bus links within walking distance of the property as well as taxis to take you into town or to the train station. Chichester Train Station is within walking distance and has good links to the rest of the country.

The houses has very few hazards within it. The outside garden is completely fenced in so children can play safely out there with no possibility of escape. There are two flights of stairs so very small children might need to be supervised. There would be no problem for older children.
