Self-Contained

What does this mean?

The Annex is light and bright with a living area with eating facilities, a shower room, well-equipped kitchen area and comfortable sleeping arrangements. It has a mezzanine sleeping area with small double bed and a larger sofa bed in the main space. The mezzanine area would be unsuitable for those with mobility issues as it is accessed via ladder.
An small outside relaxation area is available for your use on sunnier days (yes- we do have those in Wales!!)
Access; The Annex is located on our property but is a stand alone unit and there is plenty of parking available. Whilst we are close by to assist, we will afford you maximum privacy.
WiFi is available but due to the location of the Annex is not 100% reliable so not suitable for home working, only social use.
Notes; If you have any special requests or queries, we will do our best to help.

The Area and Transport

About; Self-contained space in Llandaff North, close to Cardiff City Centre. Very conveniently located – picturesque walks and hikes on the doorstep, 15 minutes by bike or 10 minute train journey to Central Cardiff, close to the Heath Hospital, the universities (Cardiff Met, RWCMD and Cardiff) and major roads (A470, M4) and bus routes.
Distance to theatres; Wales Millennium Centre 8.3 miles , RWCMD 2.8 miles , New Theatre 3.3 miles and the Sherman 3.2 miles. All less than 30 minutes drive/ train journey.
Local amenities include supermarkets, bakery, coffee shops, restaurants, takeaways and petrol station. Very close to Llandaff City with its beautiful Cathedral, Whitchurch Village and (a bit further) Bute Park. Lovely, quiet neighbourhood but close enough to all the action Cardiff offers- world class sport, music and theatre.
The Space; Private, safe and modern, our self-contained studio annex unit is ideal for anyone working on shows at WMC, New Theatre or Sherman

Had a wonderful stay in the Annex. Everything you could need from a self contained place. Was made to feel very welcome, and at home, as soon as I arrived.
The walk into Cardiff takes about 40 minutes, but is a lovely walk along the river (there is bus and taxi options too). Big Tesco nearby. Would definitely stay again!
