Living with Host

Beautiful sunny double room with private en-suite, in a recently-refurbished spacious tenement flat, on the south-west side of the Meadows.

Perfectly located on a tree-lined street in the quiet and friendly neighbourhood of Sciennes, next to the park just off Melville Terrace, 3 mins from Summerhall Arts Quarter, 5 mins from George Square.

Shops, cafes and bus routes are only a stone-throw away in Newington and Marchmont.

Host comes and goes ( I'm self-employed, often working out of town and have an elderly mother down south needing regular visits ).

Guests are welcome to access the kitchen, with all mod-cons and a big table conducive to conversation.

The flat is peaceful and spacious enough for guests to have total privacy yet friendly and homely enough for guest(s) and host to share a chat and a cuppa now and again.

Several great cafes nearby for breakfast, or feel free to use the fridge and kitchen. Washing machine and clothes drier always available. Garden too!

Many Edinburgh theatre venues are short walking distance away and we are close to the main Southside bus thoroughfare with regular buses to all sides of town.

I have small mattress which I can add to the room -I’ve often have neices and nephews staying over the years . Both myself and work colleague who stays now and again , have Disclosure Scotland certification for working with Children and Vulnerable adults . ( Also for those with babies/toddlers -the flat is on first floor with shallow steps , easy to bring a buggy up -and big hall in the flat with room to leave buggy/pram )
