Living with Host
One double bedroom with Venetian blinds, shared large modern bathroom with window. Use of kitchen area and tea/coffee/microwave but no cooking. Use of small garden courtyard a really lovely quiet street. Strictly NO visitors/overnight guests. Guests must read the House Rules leaflet supplied in their room as there are a couple of housekeeping instructions re dishes/cleanliness etc

Sought after area of Southville 5 minute walk from Tobacco Factory and the fabulous North Street. Trendy bars, pubs, restaurants, record shops, gym, yoga, comedy. Walking distance to Harbourside, Clifton, city centre (Hoppodrome theatre).

No shoes on stairs. Recycle all rubbish in bin partitions. (large empty food containers go directly to the outside bins) Don’t leave dirty food cartons or plates,cutlery etc in your room overnight or during the day (in dishwasher please). If washing up please also dry up and put anway. Ensure all lights / appliances switched off when not in use. No cooking but reheating in microwave is fine. (Sorry but I must reduce noise at night and don’t want cooking smells) All guests must read the ‘House Info’ booklet supplied in room.

Big room in a good location. Not great for longer stays. After I had paid for my stay in full, the host began giving me new rules that weren't said prior to moving in or stated on the listing. It became increasingly frustrating as new rules were messaged to me almost every other day. After speaking with the host I agreed to move out after a month, but a day later I received a message to move out within 5 days. She also tried to charge me for chipping my own bowl.

Maya. I am disappointed you have given me such a poor review. Unfortunately you had a number of things wrong. From the money you arrived I handed you the ‘House Rukes and Info’ document as I do with all my guests. I reminded you of the these rules sometimes as you were not adhering to them as requested. I asked you to leave early as unbeknown to me I had to have urgent knee surgery and could not cope with a full time lodger and knew I could not keep the high level of cleanliness I keep.
Sarah was very welcoming as my
host and a warming reception. Would highly recommend for future purposes!

Sarah is a wonderful host! Her house is so lovely and clean and she was very easy to communicate with before and during my stay. She’s super friendly and I felt very relaxed in her company. Would absolutely stay with her again :)
