About these Digs
Self-Contained
This cosy, renovated, ground floor flat is situated a stones throw from the Cliffs Pavilion.
Booking is for the entire apartment which comprises 1 bedroom with a double bed, a living room with tv/fireplace and dining table plus sofa bed that accommodates 1 adult (not suitable for children), a fully equipped kitchen and a shower room (no bath) plus a private garden. Everything you should need for your entire stay.

There is a £50 cleaning fee per stay; additional cleans will be required at the same cost for stays over 2 weeks.
Balance payments must be paid in advance and prior to check in details being provided.
Guest Parking
The area is residential permit parking only during the hours of 11 in the morning until 9 at night. There is a paid car park round the corner and street parking a short walk away. Day permits may be available at an extra cost, please message us to find out more.
The Area and Transport
You can be off stage and back at your comfortable pad within a couple of moments!
The cliffs gardens are a lovely relaxing place to sit and watch the world go by or eat a famous Rossi ice cream.
The train station is a 5 minute walk and buses are within walking distance taking you into Southend should you not fancy the lovely walk along the seafront or the cliffs (10 minute walk).
A small corner shop is opposite the theatre, and local shops are round the corner, with a large supermarket only 5 minutes away.

There is a shared access lobby. This must be kept clear of belongings and secure at all times as it is a fire exit.

There is only 1 set of keys. Lost keys will be charged at £30 plus £50 for hosts time if required to attend.
Noise must be kept respectful especially after 22:00 as this is a residential area.
Parties are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal with no refund.
Any damage may be charged on departure (not minor accidents like breaking of a glass)
Illegal and immoral activities and drugs are strictly prohibited.
Shared lobby to be kept clear at all times.
Health and safety rules must be followed and any concerns raised immediately.
Children must be supervised at all times.
Rubbish must be disposed of appropriately.
Guests possessions should be insured by the guest.
£50 is charge for post stay clean. and for bookings over 2 weeks additional cleans will be required at £50.
There is no parking between 11:00-21:0

I had a wonderful stay at this excellent property. The flat is spacious and clean and became a real home away from home during my lengthy panto run. Chris & Hilary were attentive, friendly & helpful. I couldn't recommend them enough. Wonderful.

Great place and SO close to stage door! Ideal for a few people to stay :)

Chris and Hilary were great hosts with great communication. Their place is amazing, so so close to the theatre. Great comfy bed and amazing shower. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Would definitely stay again. Great for a couple on tour.
