Living with Host

What does this mean?

This ensuite room includes free wifi, full use of the kitchen including microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, bedding and towels as well as a space heater, a fan and a mini fridge and kettle in the room for your own use. There is also a shared courtyard and a balcony. I hope to make your stay as comfortable and peaceful as you wish and will be happy to try and accommodate your requests as best I can, so please just ask.

Guest Parking

There is only metered on street parking available nearby as it is considered the city centre but there is also a privately owned car park which is a minutes walk away which can offer a reduced rate for longer stays (currently £3.50/day though deals can be struck!) and if interested I can give you their details to check them out.

The Area and Transport

This is a peaceful double ensuite room in a 2 bed flat overlooking the river Clyde in the happening Finnieston area of Glasgow, very close both to the West End and the City Centre. Easily walkable, although there is plenty of public transport to all of the major Theatres and Arenas close by, with both Trains and Buses just a short walk away. The x19 takes a route close to the Kings Theatre and the Theatre Royal within 15 minutes travel time though it is a pleasant walk to these venues and can be done in roughly 20 and 25 minutes. The flat itself is a short way away from the nearby hustle and bustle of the lively Finnieston Strip with its independent shops, bars and restaurants and plenty of gyms nearby. The SEC Arenas, the BBC and STV studios are all very close by. There is a Nisa just across the road (open till 10pm) and a Sainsbury's local (open till 11pm) 2 minutes away as well as a Lidl about a 12 minute walk away.

Loved my stay with Pauline. She was super helpful with travel advice and her home was the perfect place for me with the view from the balcony and gorgeous walk into the city along the river. If I’m touring to Glasgow again this is where I’ll book.

Another fantastic stay with at Paulne's. It's a real quiet sanctuary with a pretty river view. Spotless clean and comfortable with everything you need in the room. It's a pleasant walk to the Kings Theatre and has a handy Sainsbury's across the road. Pauline is a great host. I can highly recommend !
