Self-Contained

What does this mean?

We decided to convert our garage and stable to a 'granny flat' type annexe in 2020. There are wo large rooms, one with twin beds and the main room with a sofa and kitchenette. There is a toilet with shower. A freeview TV and wifi commection also.

The Stable has its own brick courtyard which is beautiful cool on hot days.

There is plenty of free on street parking on Summer Hill

The Area and Transport

Harbledown is the beginning of Canterbury’s rural areas but is only a 20 minute walk to the Marlowe Theatre and the rest of the city centre.

I thoroughly enjoyed my few days in The Stable Annexe. Mick and Pam were extremely, welcoming, friendly and hospitable. The annexe itself is very spacious and comfortable and a pleasant 15-minute walk from 'The Marlowe'. The 'welcome pack' of milk, bread, etc. is a very thoughtful and welcome bonus. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you...

I had a great stay at the Stable Annexe!

In a convenient location with a super straight forward and easy 20ish minute walk to the Marlowe Theatre and Canterbury high street.

Pam and Mick were excellent, attentive hosts and extremely helpful and friendly!

The digs itself was well equipped and accurate to the listing. I would love to stay here again if I ever got the chance! Thanks so much for having me!
