Living with Host
67 St Mark’s is a tall, terraced town house. The top floor is for visitor use only. It is quiet and peaceful. There is a blackout blind and electric blanket. The bedroom is light and airy. The shower room is right next to the bedroom. There is a small fridge and kettle on the landing outside the bedroom for making tea and coffee, however, guests have full use of the kitchen on the lower ground floor.
Guest Parking
There is residents parking on St Mark’s Road and 24 hour visitor permits are currently £1.
The Area and Transport
St Mark’s Road is a quiet, tree lined residential street. It is about a 15-20 minute walk from the Playhouse Theatre and a 5 minute walk from the Salisbury Art Centre. The station is about a 25/30 minute walk when not burdened with luggage. Taxis from the station are £8/9 .Salisbury is a small city and easily walkable.

Everything on the top floor is for the sole use of guests. Kitchen and washing machine are shared with the host. Please note that this is a tall house and that there are 3 flights of stairs from the kitchen on the lower ground floor to the top floor bedroom area.

Had a fabulous week at Jane's - one of the best digs I've ever stayed at! So specious, spotlessly clean, a wonderfully comfy bed and only about a 12 minute walk to the theatre. Jane has a brilliant kitchen too with everything you could you need. I would 100% recommend, and would definitely stay again.

Jane was amazing! such a nice room - the kettle and fridge outside the room is such a nice touch. the bathroom's really nice and the whole house is a lovely atmosphere! Jane was also super communicative and accommodating, helping me pick up the keys even when she wasn't there. I was there for a really short stay but really appreciated her digs. if I ever come back to salisbury I'd definitely stay with Jane!

Jane is a lovely host and it was great chatting about travelling and music. The room was warm, cosy and clean. Probably one of the nicest digs I've stayed at on tour.

Jane’s home is lovely and the room at the top is peaceful, light and perfect, as is the adjacent bathroom. I would definitely stay again if she’d have me.

Excellent digs with Jane. Splendid room with private bathroom, immaculate, in a stylish home ideally located in Salisbury. No hesitation in recommending - except I want to be there again so don't you dare book it when I'm on stage!

Jane is a formidable host. She is funny, friendly, kind and made me feel at home. We even had wine, chocolate and had a gossip together in front of the fire place. The house (which she renovated) is in my opinion amazing. It’s modern and chic, clean and tidy. Jane had everything I needed, with herbal teas at hand - the use of having my own kettle and mini fridge outside the room was a plus. Onto the room - I have no complaints it’s spacious, the bed is hotel standard! and the bathroom is cosy.

Jane’s house is lovely. Spotlessly clean, amazing comfy bed and great private bathroom. Jane is friendly and helpful and my stay was the perfect start to my tour. I was boasting about my digs to the rest of the cast.

I had the most amazing stay at Jane’s house. She’s completely welcoming, lovely to chat to and every little personal touch really made my stay feel like a home away from home. A GORGEOUS house and huge airy room with black out blinds and a little tea station for a morning cuppa. Brilliant location, 15 min walk to the theatre. Would absolutely recommend these digs.
