This beautiful large Victorian home is in the heart of Southsea. Everything is accessible by foot. There is also a bus route half a minute walk away. We are fortunate to be within walking distance to all of three local theatres.
The house is sprawled out on four different levels. You can either have complete privacy or enjoy relaxing in the communal areas such as the living room, kitchen and several outdoor areas. You would have full use of the kitchen.
Guest Parking
There is parking on the road directly outside the property. There is a parking restriction that applies between 5-7pm that requires permits. I provide these for you.
The Area and Transport
This very large bedroom is located on the top floor up in the eave. It is very quiet and you can be sure to get a good night sleep. There is an interesting view across the rooftops, reaching as far as the spinnaker tower. The bed is a king size and has an Emma mattress and an electric blanket for
warmth and comfort. There was also a smart television which includes Netflix channels.

Absolutely one of the best places I've stayed on tour. Melissa was very kind and generous and has impeccable taste - the whole place was spotless and could easily be featured in an interior design magazine. Melissa is one of those hosts that actually enjoy you being there and clearly has a lot of love for theatre people. The room was massive and pretty quiet. There was a wonderful breakfast every morning. The house is a 5-7 minute walk away from the theatre. Thank you for having me!

A beautiful room and really easy check in.
Melissa was so welcoming and even had breakfast set up. It was a shame I was only staying one night! Thank you for a great stay.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay in Melissa’s beautiful home. Melissa was very welcoming and accommodating, and was also kind enough to provide bits and pieces for breakfast! The house has everything you could possibly need, and was lovely and calm to come back to in the evening. The theatre is also only a short walk away, so the location is incredibly convenient. I would be delighted to stay here again in the future if ever I’m back down this way!

What an unbelievable stay. Melissa runs a friendly, open and incredibly beautiful home. Always around and will go above what is needed just to make sure you are comfortable. I wish I wasn't so busy that I could enjoy the garden and the plant room more. A stones throw from The Kings, transport links and all shops you need. The place to stay in Southsea

I had the pleasure of staying here for 5 weeks while working on panto. The room is very spacious and comfortable in a warm and welcoming home. Melissa is such a delightful host, who is always up for a chat and full of local recommendations. The provided breakfast is just the cherry on top of what is already a fantastic stay.

I had a lovely stay, generous breakfast options and a nice, spacious room in a stunning house. It was a short walk to work and there was parking outside the house for the week. Would definitely stay again!
