Living with Host

What does this mean?

We’re an LGBTQ+ friendly household of three artists and a very well-behaved poodle 🐩 based in CF24. We’ve been close friends for 6 years and run a relaxed, "no-drama" home filled with art, trinkets and plants.

The house is quiet during the day as we’re currently renovating a project nearby, but we’re a social bunch in the evenings and always up for a movie or games night. Perfect for theatre pros or crew who need a restful sanctuary.

Includes a king sized room, 2 bathrooms, garden, full kitchen use, and bike storage.

New Theatre/Sherman: 20-min walk / 7-min cycle

WMC: 10-min cycle

Guest Parking

Plenty of free on street spaces so you'll *at max* only be a street over but watch out for permit holder only sections!

The Area and Transport

The Area
We are based in Adamsdown/Roath (CF24), a vibrant, creative neighbourhood with a great local vibe.

Walking to Theatres
New Theatre: ~20–25 minute walk.

Sherman Theatre: ~20–25 minute walk.

Wales Millennium Centre (WMC): ~35–40 minute walk (Most people prefer the cycle or bus for this one!).

Transport & Cycles
Secure Bike Storage: We have secure garden where you can store a bike. Cycling is the quickest way to get around—you can be at the WMC in 10-12 minutes or the New Theatre in 7 minutes.

Train: ~15-minute walk to Cardiff Queen Street Station.

Bus: The 2 or 57/58 buses are nearby and get you into the city centre or the Bay quickly.

Shoes off inside the house - There is plenty of shoe storage at the front door and we can provide slippers if needed.
Please sort and recycle your rubbish in the bins provided.
Smoking is only allowed outside - thanks.
Please keep noise to a minimum between 11 PM and 8 AM.
Please do your best to clean up after yourself in shared spaces.
Occasional overnight guests are fine with a heads-up, but no long-term stays please!

Had a really lovely quiet stay here, room was clean and as described. In good weather an easy 40 minute walk to the WMC, or Ubers were as cheap as £6.
