Living with Host

What does this mean?

Two spacious and comfortable double rooms with King Size beds in a stylish period tenement in the Southside of Glasgow only 2 mins from the local train station. This residential area is popular with arts professionals and is very well served with cafes, supermarkets and shops. The flat is arranged over 2 floors and has a wealth of original features including window shutters in both rooms (great for blackout) and shelved cupboards. Towels and a hairdryer are provided and there is WiFi throughout the property.
Use of all facilities including the kitchen with guest seating area/TV and a separate laundry room with washer and dryer. The bathroom is shared between the two rooms and has an electric shower over the bath. There is a private garden which guests are welcome to use.
A set of keys is provided to each guest and visitors/overnight guests can be accommodated by prior arrangement at an extra cost.
I have a young whippet called Winnie who is very friendly and loves people.

Free on street parking.

The Area and Transport

No 33 Bus runs every hour from the bottom of the road - to Citizens Theatre and Tron Theatre.
Trains run every 20 mins from Platform 1 (station 2 mins from flat) to Glasgow Central and takes 10 mins.
Train stops at Pollokshaws East for The Tramway, enroute to Central.
From Central the Theatre Royal is a 15 min walk. From Central the Kings Theatre is a 20 min walk.
There is also a Voi Electric Bike Park at the bottom of the road. E bikes are hireable by the minute or you can pay for a block of minutes. The Citizens Theatre is a 10 min ride. The Tramway is 5 mins ride. City centre approx 15-20 mins.

Both rooms have lockable doors. The bedrooms are located on the upper floor and share a bathroom.
The shared kitchen and laundry is on the ground floor where there is also a guest seating area and TV. The main entrance to the property is via the kitchen door through the private garden.

I have a private living room upstairs and shower room downstairs.

Please remember to close the garden gate when entering and exiting - I have a wee dog!!

I had a fantastic stay with Suzanne and Winnie. A beautiful home! Also the train to Glasgow Central is cheap, quick and easy.
