Living with Host
You are welcome to stay in my lovely home, part of an elegant Georgian house conversion. The room available is a spacious double with a comfortable king size bed.
The bathroom with bath and shower is shared with me. I have an old friend who shares my flat but he has his own area including shower room so you will probably only see him in the kitchen sometimes.
The kitchen has table and chairs to eat at when you wish. You are free to use the 'formal' sitting room at the front of the flat most of the time (sometimes used to practice in), with a piano which loves to be played!
There is a separate cloakroom off the hall. I live in Leith (the docks area). The closest theatre is the Playhouse a 20min walk or 10mins by bus.
The bus service to Leith is excellent with numerous buses to all parts of Edinburgh. I'm about 20mins by bus to the Festival theatre and 30mins to the Kings theatre.

I had a lovely stay with Robyn over the Christmas period working at the Edinburgh Playhouse. She was a lovely host and always made sure I had what I needed. It was a very comfortable and spacious room. There is a nice walk 20-25 min walk to the theatre as well as a tram stop very nearby. Highly recommended.

A lovely house with a very comfortable bed! Tram connections are minutes away, a Lidl just around the corner too. It was a little chilly at night which didn’t bother me, otherwise my stay was lovely. Thanks Robyn!

Robyn was a lovely host, I felt welcomed and at home in her beautiful home right away. I enjoyed the location in Leith, calm surroundings and a nice long walk into town. Thank you for the comfortable, warm stay, I'd gladly stay again!

I had a wonderful stay with Robyn and would highly recommend these digs. The room was larger than I expected with a very cosy and comfortable bed. The room was very clean as was the shared bathroom. If you like walking, which I do, it’s an easy 40 minute walk to the Festival Theatre and perhaps 25 to the playhouse. The trams are brilliant with a stop literally minutes from Robyn’s doorstep. Leith had everything I needed for a convenient and pleasant stay. Robyn herself was easy going and kind.

Robyn is a lovely host who made me feel really welcome. Her home is beautiful, well maintained and comfortable. The bedroom was large, with a double bed and big dressing table.
It was 2 minutes walk and a 20 minute bus journey direct to Edinburgh Festival Theatre, passing through the city centre. The bus service in Edinburgh is excellent and reliable.
Would absolutely recommend these digs to anyone staying in Edinburgh.

Had a lovely time staying at Robyns for the week! Such a lovely welcoming lady and the digs were perfect and as described! Felt very at home and comfortable. A 15 minute walk in a straight line to the theatre royal. Parking is available too if needed! Would stay again! Thank you for being a great host, Robyn!

Robyn was very friendly with great communication.. and the apartment was truly delightful. The ground floor and lower basement of a Georgian house. The tram runs literally outside the property so easy access to the theatre (15mins) and there are lovely cafes and restaurants within a 5min walk. Great position I thought. Room was lovely, (if not a little cool being a basement room) with a large super comfy warm double bed, and lovely shared bathroom and use of kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

I had a lovely stay with Robyn. She has a beautiful house, and the room I was in was well kept and comfortable. 5 minute tram ride to the playhouse was perfect for the long tech days!
