Living with Host

What does this mean?

We offer one of three spacious double rooms in our family home. Rooms are subject to availability so please enquire if you are particular about the room you require. For one room there is a Jack and Jill bathroom adjacent to the room with shower, toilet and basin. For the other two rooms, guests will use our spacious main bathroom which is shared with ourselves. There is full access to our kitchen, the hub of the house with all the facilities one could need to prepare meals and relax. There’s a TV in the kitchen and another in the lounge.

Guest Parking

On street parking is plentiful, a guest resident parking permit is provided to our guests.

The Area and Transport

Our house is a mile from the theatres, a short walk or an easy bus ride. We live on a quiet leafy street, a short distance from Princes Avenue with its cafe bars, shops and restaurants.

This space is shared with 2 Hosts, 1 other permanent tenant and 2 other paying Guests.

There are no locks on the doors but privacy is, of course, respected at all times. Guests have access to the dining room, lounge, kitchen and garden and there are 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms available.

Other rules

We ask that guests do not cook raw meat in the kitchen. Pre-prepared meat such as breaded chicken or fish is okay in the oven, but no raw meat, particularly pork. Take-aways are fine. Guests should take meals in the kitchen or dining room, not in their room.

Shoes should be removed before going up the stairs.

Lovely safe road. Easy parking with permit. Very comfy bed. Bright and lovely room. Nice hosts with great communication. Highly recommend.

Brilliant digs! Simon and Sarah’s house is wonderful. The bed was super comfy, they were very friendly and communicative and they definitely make one feel comfortable and at home. Highly recommend

Simon and Sahrah were lovely hosts. Clear communication and direction as to house rules/expectations and kinda hosts. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous. I look forward to staying here again.

Wowzer!!
As an artist requiring comfortable, affordable and genial digs for a week in Hull. I STRUCK GOLD!
Super comfortable,friendly and creative hosts.
Proximity to city and buried in a lively,lovely bohemian quarter,Simon and Sarah are magnificent!!!
