A bright, spacious, and peaceful double bedroom with blackout full-length curtains, located in a semi-detached, three-storey house. The room includes garden access, full use of the kitchen, laundry facilities, and living areas, along with the exclusive use of a brand-new, spacious bathroom. Lovely and respectful neighbours too.
The house is clean, smoke-free, and owned by a caring, well-travelled woman with a love for theatre, dance and arts.
The location is exceptionally well-served with amenities, including independent restaurants and coffee shops, some of which host live gigs throughout the year. Notably, the nearby pub hosted UB40's first-ever concert in 1979.
Surrounded by greenery, the area offers a peaceful environment while remaining close to everything you need. The city center, with its array of theatres, is only 6 miles away and easily accessible via the No. 50 bus, which stops just around the corner and runs every 3โ5 minutes.

The nearest bus stop (No. 50) is just around the corner and provides convenient access to the town center, where most of the theatres are located. The service runs every 3โ5 minutes. The No. 50 route also connects to the coach station and the train station, both situated in the town center.
For road travel, the M42 motorway is just 6 miles away, and Birmingham Airport is 11 miles from the location, offering excellent connectivity.
The high street is less than a 15-minute walk, featuring a variety of supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants, hairdressers/barbers, opticians, pharmacies, and more. A Tesco Express and several independent shops are only a 5-minute walk away.
For outdoor activities, the nearest park is less than a 10-minute walk. From there, you can easily walk to two additional parks, one of which is located opposite Edgbaston Cricket Ground and features the MAC (Midlands Arts Centre), an independent arts and theatre venue.

Could not have had a better stay with the lovely Michela. The most generous, wholesome and lovely host I have ever had the pleasure of staying with. Separate private bathroom with rainfall shower was divine. One of the comfiest beds I've ever stayed in (was difficult to get up for work!) and a great kitchen with lots of space. Private free parking. Got the no.50 bus, 5 min walk away took about 25 mins to get to Moor st Station then only a short 10 min walk to The Alexandra. Very safe and regular

Michela and her family are absolutely wonderful, gracious host. Michela was so kind to offer help whenever I needed and I could count on her home being a safe and comfortable place to begin and end my days. Would 100% recommend to everyone.
