Small, clean, practical double room (Edinburgh)

My modern and tidy flat on the first floor of this modern apartment building is located in the district of Slateford, to the west of Edinburgh city centre. Haymarket station is 1.0 miles away, Princes Street is 2.0 miles away, the Royal Mile and Bristo Square 2.0 miles and the Pleasance Courtyard 2.3 miles from the development.

The apartment is minutes walk from a choice of two different bus stops offering frequent services across the city (buses 1, 3, 4, 25, 33, 34, 35 and 44). Lothian Road could even be reached on foot in around 30 minutes if the weather is pleasant.

The whole of Edinburgh is accessible from here. On days when a guest wants to stay closer to home, there’s a range of amenities within walking distance including four major supermarket brands, restaurants and take-aways, pubs and bars and a large cinema. The Fountain Park leisure complex is under a mile away.

The flat benefits from a long hallway which puts some space between the living areas and front door, a shower and bath, a shared living room, a shared kitchen and a lovely south-west facing balcony which really gets the afternoon and early evening sun in August. There is a television offering various channels and catch up services and there’s Wi-Fi access too. My bedroom is ensuite therefore the guest will have exclusive use of the main bathroom at all times.

A house cat lives in the property and his hooded litter box is kept in the main bathroom so perhaps this accommodation would better suit an understanding cat person.
