Living with Host
We offer a self-contained floor in the recently completed basement conversion of our Edwardian terraced townhouse. Guests have a comfortable double bedroom, a private shower room, utility room with kettle and mini-fridge, and a cosy living room with a flat-screen TV. Access is through the main house and guests have full use of our family kitchen and rear garden.
Our house is ideally located for performers working across Manchester, with easy access to the city centre and many of the region's major venues, including Palace Theatre Manchester, Royal Exchange Theatre, The Lowry, The Bridgewater hall, and Aviva Studios. We're also well connected by public transport, making it easy to reach rehearsal spaces and concert venues across Greater Manchester.
We aim to provide a warm, relaxed environment where performers can rest, recharge, and feel at home. We'd be delighted to welcome you and help make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Guest Parking
Parking is free on the road outside the house.
The Area and Transport
Our house is 2 miles from the centre of Manchester. The nearest tram stop is a 15 minute walk and there are bus stops within a 10 minute walk of the house. Alternatively it is a 45 minute walk into town, or there are local city bikes for hire with great cycle lanes into the centre.
Whalley Range is a leafy suburb with supermarkets, shops and bars nearby, including the Cartlon Club, a local venue and bar with lovely oputdoor space. Neighbouring Chorlton is full of places to eat and drink, also with good transport links to and from the centre.
