We are offering a fabulous converted self contained attic space with separate shower room in our home.

There is a double bed, sofa, tv, hanging/draw space and a kitchen area with kettle, hob, toaster, microwave and a good selection of kitchen equipment. There is a fridge with a small freezer compartment just outside of the room. The shower room has an electric shower, toilet, sink and heated towel rail.

Note: no guests but we can recommend local Airbnb/hotels

Guest Parking

Digital street parking permits are available for 50p a day. Parking on Saturdays and Sundays is free.By

The Area and Transport

Our home is in one of the nicest parts of York, close to open spaces including York Racecourse and a local park (Rowntrees) we are also only a 15 minute pleasant walk into town past some lovely shops and cafes. We are just a 10 minute walk from York Station.

This has been one of my favourite digs ever! You feel like you're living in the sky - amongst the tree tops and clouds. It is gorgeous, very private and Melanie was the perfect host. I can't wait to come back. Beautiful walks nearby and a lovely walk to the theatre. I can't recommend it enough. Thank you!

A lovely self contained suite. A pity that I spent so little time using it. A very quiet house in a quiet road. 20 minute walk to the theatre, which is just about right. I hardly saw my hosts but then, they hardly saw me!

If you ever get the chance, you will never stay with better hosts than Melanie and David, and you’ll never be in better digs than those in Wentworth Road
The perfect stay!
But book early because everyone knows how incredible they are
