Living with Host

What does this mean?

Millbridge House is a large Victorian house with 2 letting bedrooms. I’m a retired mum of three grown up children who have all flown the nest, so you are welcome to share my home with me! The modern bathroom with shower is for your own use and you have use of the kitchen with microwave & toaster etc.
I’ve hosted theatre staff for several years now and many have returned. My daughter is a mua, having done theatre tours and told me I should become a host! You’re welcome to come and go as you please and I respect your privacy.
The yellow single room now has a single bed and not a double bed.

Guest Parking

Plenty of parking just on front of the house and off road.
Bicycles can be stored in lock up shed.

The Area and Transport

Theatre. 15-20 min level walk as property is very near Torre Abbey gardens. Very pretty walk and soon on the seafront where the theatre is and the pier.
Railway station. 10 minute level walk but I’m happy to pick up if I’m available.
Coach station prob 15 mins walk down hill. Again happy to collect if I can.
Parking. Off road in front of the house.
The house is opposite Cockington school.
Local shops 2 min walk under the bridge, cafe, take aways, Spa etc
Quiet location generally.

I had a great stay with Sandi. Lovely big room with lots of light and a lovely view towards the sea. Free parking and an easy flat walk to the theatres. Sandi was the perfect host. I felt at home instantly😊

This was an absolutely delightful place to stay. I was in the single room and it was comfy and gorgeous. Lovely walk into town and Sandi is a dream host.
