Living with Host
The room is a bright double situated in the loft. From the window there are views over the river including the city which are stunning. I am the sole resident and am happy for you share all the facilities in the kitchen, bathroom and living room. There is a lovely south west facing garden terrace for you to sit on, should you get the chance.
Storyhouse theatre is just over a mile away. There is a bus service, the journey takes approximately 15 mins including walking time. Alternatively an easy walk through the city takes 22 min.
Chester main line rail station is a 15 minute walk.
Parking is available on the road.
There are excellent local amenities.
I am happy for a guest to stay as long as notice is given.
Smoking allowed, but only outside.

Karen was lovely to stay with! A wonderful walk to the theatre with fabulous views to get your day started nicely, with food shops nearby, I was rather busy so didn't get much time in the house other than to sleep, but Karen was always very welcoming and the room was very comfortable and clean! Highly recommend here for anyone coming to work in Chester!

Karen’s room is an attic room that feels very comfy and cozy. She was really kind and helped me carry my suitcase upstairs. I would definitely stay with Karen again, she was a lovely host! It’s also a nice, safe walk to the theatre.

Fantastic house, really clean and tidy, and also pretty cool - and Karen is absolutely lovely too - 25/30 min walk into town. I would love to stay here again next time I'm in Chester, thanks Karen you're a super star!

Excellent accommodation with a kind and thoughtful host. Would highly recommend. I especially liked the outdoor deck in the sunshine. Perfect for morning yoga.

Very comfortable bed in a lovely attic room. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided in the room too. I didn’t see much of Karen due to our differing schedules but she was a very good host and I enjoyed our chat on the morning I was leaving.

100% the best place to stay in Chester! I was here for 3 months & it felt like a second home. Karen is the most lovely & considerate host. Gorgeous house, warm room, comfy bed, 20min walk to town. Can't recommend this place enough! I miss it already!

Had a lovely 5 weeks staying with Karen. She is so chill, and happy for you to do your own thing, come and go as your please, or sit in the lounge watching TV with her. So accommodating and what a room. Going to miss not waking up to that view daily!

I haven't got a bad thing to say about Karen - she is kind, the place is beautiful and such a fab location! The room is on the top floor, so make sure you're packing light, but absolutely worth it for the view, and close to everything you might need.

Luxury home away from home. The bedroom is stunning with brand new bed, luxury linen, & kettle. Karen is an exceptional host & just leaves you to get on with things. I’ve booked again simply because the room is incredible & she’s such a perfect host.
