Living with Host
A double room, recently decorated to give a clean and calm environment. New mattress, blackout blinds and clean bedding and towels provided. Quiet room at the back of the house with garden view. Shared bathroom. Full use of house and garden apart from dining room during the day, when I am working from home 2 days per week. I am a sound sleeper as I understand that theatre works involves some late nights.
Guest Parking
There is free parking on street parking.
The Area and Transport
5 mins walk to bus stop at Mapperley shops. It is a thriving busy area with lots of good pubs, bars and restaurants. Bus takes 15 mins to city centre and is every 15 minutes in the day, every half hour after 8pm until midnight. It is an upmarket and safe area and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

I had a wonderful stay with Maxine and could not recommend it more highly. She is such a warm and welcoming host, and everything was easy and uncomplicated from start to finish.
The location is perfect, especially for the theatre. The newly renovated room is spacious and beautifully presented, the bathroom is huge, and the brand new mattress gave me one of the best night’s sleeps I have ever had.
One of the best places I have stayed. Thank you, Maxine. I will definitely be back.
