About these Digs
Living with Host
Modern flat (built about 10 years ago), on the 5th floor of the Whitworth building on Potato Wharf, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. You will have your own bathroom as I only use the en suite. The guest bedroom has a double bed with a good sized wardrobe and a bedside table. The bathroom has a shower over the bath with a shower screen. The kitchen/living room is all one room with a breakfast bar on one side of the kitchen, a corner sofa and TV in the middle of the room, and a dining table at the far end of the room by the windows which look out over the opposite building, with views over the canal/railway bridge to the right. Windows are fairly thick so keep out most noise. You can use the kitchen any time! It’s fully equipped. The washing machine/dryer is in the cupboard off from the hall and you are welcome to use this too. There’s space there to hang clothes on the airing rack.
Just let me know what time you’ll be arriving and I’ll make sure I’m around to give you the keys.
Guest Parking
No parking available in the apartment building - however, if you need parking there are paying spaces in nearby carparks, on New Elm Road or on Water Street (both 2 minute walk) - these car parks aren't locked at night so leaving cars there overnight is at owner's risk.

Ben and Matthew are so charming! I loved staying with them, I felt like I’d known them for years! They’re great with communication, the flat is clean and tidy. The private bathroom was spotless. An easy walk into town. I’d stay again in a heartbeat :)

I had a really lovely stay at Ben's.
The flat is beautiful and spotless; the room was cosy and the bed was super comfortable! Having your own bathroom is always a plus too! It really felt like being at home away from home.
There's a lot to do around and the walk to HOME was very easy and safe.
Although Ben and his partner weren't there during my stay, the communication was great and he made me feel looked after and super welcome!
Definitely would stay again! Thank you!

Amazing home, I was very comfortable throughout my stay. Modern, full of natural light, and more storage than my own flat. The private bathroom was huge with lots of amenities, and the shower pressure/temp was *chef's kiss*. Everything was very clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Lovely hosts! I have only very minor notes: pillows are a little too thin and a slightly tricky washer. BUT 6 STARS if I could — I was sad to leave!!!!

Ben and Matt are wonderful hosts, very kind and generous. The flat has an easy commute to Salford and into the city. The room was warm and comfy with ample storage space. Definitely recommend!

GREAT digs. Lots of natural light, and a great location. There's a Costcutters right across the street, but also it's not too far from a Sainsburys and Tesco if you need more things. Ben and Matthew were awesome hosts, and my stay here was incredibly comfortable!

Another great stay with Ben. Easy going hosts with lovely apartment. Really easy walk to Opera House and only a further 10 minutes to the Playhouse. Highly recommended, and I would stay here again.

Fantastic digs only a 5/10 minute walk to the Opera House and to Deansgate tram stop which was very helpful. Flat and building as a whole was all lift accessible which was a huge bonus with heavy suitcases! Ben was an awesome host, would definitely recommend

Ben’s apartment is great. Everything is really clean and the bed very comfortable. Both he and Matt were really friendly and welcoming. The Palace is about 15 mins walk. The Opera House is only 5-6 mins.

Ben is a lovely host and his place is a gem! Perfect if you're at the Opera House, 5-10 min walk. Having my own bathroom was great and the flat in general is really homely and clean. Would stay again as good Manchester digs are hard to find!

Ben is an excellent, friendly and helpful host, the flat is clean and tidy, and the bedroom comes with sole use of the main bathroom off the hallway. It's in a very central location, a 15-20 minute walk from the Royal Exchange. Highly recommended.
