Detailed description
My home is a fairly large Victorian, centrally heated house, relaxed & friendly. You’ll love my place because I’ve tried to keep a Victorian design & atmosphere. It’s an interesting home containing collection of books, pictures & collectables. It's usually fairly quiet neighbourhood and my place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers (not suitable for children)
Wholehouse Wireless Internet.
Smoke detectors & carbon monoxide detectors fitted.
In my home there are always stairs to climb as the house goes up in half-floors.
There’s free street parking except for a short restricted stretch in front the church.
The area is multi-cultural and so there is a excellent variety of food available at the nearby shops, mini-markets, takeaways & restaurants many of which are open until late at night.

Guest Access
Shared areas of: bathroom (bath only) with separate toilet, fully fitted kitchen, dining room & cosy breakfast room. Front & back garden with seating & tables in the back.

Getting Around
My place is nicely situated being only a couple of minutes’ walk to a frequent bus service, shops, restaurants & a selection of pubs. A park (Old Racecourse) is a few minutes’ walk. The Deco Theatre, Abington Square and Northampton College on The Mounts are 10-15 minutes away. It is approximately 20-25 mins walk to the Town Centre, General Hospital, and Royal & Derngate Theatres. The University of Northampton is about thirty minutes’ walk. A cycle shop & a secondhand cycle shop (Cycle Recycle) are a few minutes’ away.

Please Note:
While I thoroughly clean your room before you after you leave you will be responsible for keeping your area clean & tidy during your stay.
Strictly non-smoking (including electronic) in the house, but allowed in the garden where there is seating (not under cover).
Overnight guests must be booked in beforehand and there is usually a charge.
No pets as I’m slightly allergic to animals.

Finally
I'm always available if there are any problems or advice needed or to chat and share a glass of wine.
