About these Digs
Self-Contained, Living with Host
Our home is a two-storey, Victorian house with lots of character.
Apart from the two guest bedrooms, each with tv and private ensuite, there is also a private lounge exclusively for the theatreguests, with a sofa, table&chairs, fridge, microwave, kettle & a selection of breakfast items & tasty snacks. A pleasant 10-15min walk along the beach promenade or residential streets to both the Congress and Devonshire Park theatres. We are in a prime location, literally across the road from the beach and Victorian pier.
We do not provide a cooker or washing machine but we do provide a microwave, fridge and toaster in the comfortable private lounge with table and seating.
Guest Parking
There is free parking in residential streets by the theatres. Alternatively, we can offer daily £4 parking vouchers, so guests can also park by our home.
The Area and Transport
We are a relaxed & pleasant 10-15 min walk to both the Congress and Devonshire Park theatres.
We are a 5 min walk to the local shops & cafes.
We are also literally across the road from the beach and the pier. We are a relaxed 15 min walk to the train station.

Our two theatreguest bedrooms share a private lounge/eating area exclusively for their use, where they can relax before and after shows. This room contains a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, sofa, table and chairs, cutlery and crockery. Breakfast items are provided.

The groundfloor sittingroom, kitchen, washing machine & cooker are not for guest use.

Had a great stay with Felicity. A quick walk to the theatre and a lovely, clean and safe place to stay. The bed was so comfortable and I loved being so close to the sea! Felicity was also kind enough to buy us some bread and milk and provisions which was really appreciated.

Felicity was a very kind and helpful host, and the digs was wonderful and comfortable, with a lovely 15 minute walk along the seafront to the theatre, close to the local amenities and shops, and very close to the seafront, making for a lovely stay. Would definitely reccomend

Fantastic stay in Eastbourne here. The living/kitchenette space (shared with one other guest, ideal if 2 colleagues are booking together) is excellent. Felicity provided an excellent selection of provisions and the room I stayed in was super comfortable. Easy walking distance to Eastbourne Theatres. Strong recommendation.

It’s a very comfy place to stay. Opposite the pier & just across the road from the beach for a quick dip & a shower on return. The cosy kitchenette is great for making breakfast. A great stroll to the theatre & indeed peaceful. Thanks for having me .

Our lovely host had thought of everything. It was so beautiful and thoughtful and that her place holds a very special place in my heart. From the free coffee, free innocent smoothie juice, the cereals, the biscuits, the milk / all provided without cost from our lovely host - it made for a very warm cosy, welcoming place to stay. Also great for local transport and just a minute from the sea, I'd recommend this place to anyone. I plan never to stay anywhere else now in Eastbourne.

Cosy, comfortable, clean and good value. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with good communication. As well as my own ensuite there was a lovely room to eat and relax in. With plenty provided for breakfast. Less than a minute from the seafront, 15 to Congress theatre. Highly recommended.

Great accommodation, 10 minute walk from the station and 15 minute walk to the theatre along the seafront.
Literally step out the front door and are on the seafront!
You still live with the host, but you have your own self contained living room area, with a fridge and microwave.
Would recommend to anyone, and would stay there again!

Felicity and Dennis are the most welcoming of hosts .Although listed as Self Contained you are living with the hosts however never see them and there’s a lovely private room which has all sorts of breakfast goodies along with microwave, kettle, fridge to use for your personal use . Plenty free parking around 10 minute walk away . Highly recommend

The booking is live in with hosts as opposed to self contained as listed, though we rarely crossed paths!

Lovely, clean digs in a great location, a stones throw from the beach and only a 10 minute walk to Devonshire Park Theatre or the town centre. Felicity is a fabulous and friendly host, and provided a lovely selection of breakfast options.
Was great value for money and I would definitely want to book again if I find my myself working in Eastbourne in the future.

If there is ever a PERFECT digs this is it! Felicity and Dennis are great hosts. It's a short (5Minute) walk from the theatre and the facilities are above anyones expectations. Lounge/Kitchen available after the show. Perfect! 'I'll be Back!'
