Double bedded room in quirky architect-designed conversion. Open plan living / kitchen area with Clavinova piano. Help yourself to breakfast – all very relaxed. Friendly ginger cats. Free Wi-Fi. Quiet location with sunny garden, yet close to Higher Buxton amenities. Bedlinen and towels provided. Private shower room with power shower and plenty of hot water for deep baths in the main bathroom.
Occasional guests welcome, free of charge, (as long as they share your bed!)
Leisurely ten minute walk through the Pavilion Gardens to Buxton Opera House.

Perfect digs! Lovely room and bathroom right next to it. Felt very welcome by Roddie and his wife. Great communication and still felt like I had my own space.

Roddie and Kate were great hosts for my stay in Buxton. Instantly very welcoming and kind, and their cats are very cute.
Nice walk to town centre and the theatre. Great room and private bathroom.
Would recommend and stay again.

Kate and Roddie are perfect hosts! The room is so comfortable, the shower is gorgeous, and it's a lovely walk into town. I had such a nice stay here, and would happily stay again.

One of my nicest ever theatre digs stays. Roddie was so easy to communicate with. The room is absolutely beautiful, the bed like a cloud and lovely linen and towels. Great shower room right next to the bedroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. Close to Buxton Opera House and anything else you might need. Really can't fault it. Roddie and Kate are wonderful people and it was a pleasure to sign their guest book.

Roddie and Kate are the perfect hosts offering the most wonderful accommodation in their quirky, upside-down house in higher Buxton. The bed is probably the most comfortable you will ever sleep in, and you will totally fall for the charms of the two adorable ginger feline friends, Basil and Edwin.
An easy walk to the theatre, with loads of pubs, restaurants and late-night eateries on the way. Sainsbury’s is a three minute walk away. Parking also available. Highly recommended.

I could not have asked for better digs this week. The photos don’t do it justice, the house is absolutely beautiful. Such good value too, feels like you’re staying in an Airbnb for the price of really reasonable digs. Lovely, easy walk to and from the theatre. The cats are adorable (Edwin has my heart) and Roddie and Kate are the perfect hosts. I would give ten stars if I could, see you again :)

Had a wonderful stay with Roddie and Kate. Really enjoyed my time there. The room and bathroom are perfect. Good distance away from the theatre. Would definitely recommend, and would stay again!

Lovely place to stay, close to everything in Buxton. Roddie and Kate were friendly and helpful and made me feel right at home. Would definitely recommend if visiting Buxton

Extremely lovely stay with super friendly hosts Roddie and Kate. Thank you very much- their two cats are extremely friendly, the place is extremely clean and welcoming with enough space and has the comfiest bed ever. would absolutely stay again!!

Interesting house and very clean but with roaming cat, so beware if you're allergic or don't like cat hairs... Great location and comforable so pretty good value - especially condsidering how expensive Buxton is.
