Living with Host
This end of terrace Victorian house benefits from a small courtyard garden and garden room, both of which you are welcome to use.
Full use of the kitchen and dining/living room and shared bathroom.
Walking to and from the theatres is via well used routes in residential areas and it is safe, therefore, to walk back and forth to theatres.
Guest Parking
If you can avoid bringing a car, it would be helpful. We have permit parking and even this is no guarantee of a space.
However I do realise that you may need your car so if this is the case, I can organise a visitor's permit for £1.50/day or approximately £12/month. Let me know in advance so I can arrange this and payment on arrival.
The Area and Transport
This cosy house is a little sanctuary and a quiet place to relax in your rare moments away from work. I have two small dogs who will greet you enthusiastically and then leave you alone!
We're based in a residential area, which is a two minute walk to Tesco Superstore, open until midnight except Sundays. A four minute walk takes you to Waitrose. Local theatres and shops are easily reached, 15 minutes on foot to the Everyman Theatre and 35 minutes to the Bacon Theatre.
Public transport is also convenient for getting here, only a 15 minute walk from the train station and the coach station. If I'm around, I'll be happy to pick you up from either when you arrive.
Takeaways, pubs and restaurants are all close by, yet the area is quiet.

The bathroom, kitchen and living room are shared with us if we're here. I spend a lot of time away so quite often you'll have them to yourself.
You'll have a shelf for your own personal use in the fridge and a small drawer in the freezer. A shelf in a cupboard for your food will also be available to you. Please don't store food in your room.

This is my home, I'm happy to share it with my guests. The only room off limits is my bedroom.

Pure gem! Katherine is a lonely human being, she makes you feel at home whilst away from home. So close to theatre and the lift to the train station was the nicest touch! Don’t miss this spot!

No complaints at all. I had three days all alone, no problems there as Katherine had organised a friend who was brilliant in explaining everything. Katherine was most accommodating as were her two dogs Charlie and Magnus. Definitely return when next in Cheltenham
