Living with Host
South facing single, double, and super kingsized bed rooms, with locking doors. All rooms have fast broadband, great mattresses, table and chair to work at, mirrors and plain walls. Clothes storage is hanging and drawers. The double room has an armchair and the others have sofas. Guests have access to family kitchen which is also a social space There is south facing patio garden, which is the only place smoking is allowed stocked with scented plants and herbs. There is a shared bath room with shower, a separate shower room, and a laundry room. Washing can be dried outside on the line or there is a tumble dryer. If the house is busy we are near launderettes. A recent regeneration scheme awaits completion so the two neighbouring properties await repair. The rooms all have double curtains which block cold, noise and light. We're away from the busy city centre, a good place to rest night or day. A safe and friendly street, where we mostly all know each other.
Guest Parking
On street parking outside the house. There is room at the back for one cycle first come first served. Bike store is under a tarp, no bike shed at the moment. The neighbouring streets have free parking so there are overflow options if needed.
The Area and Transport
Well loved cheerful Victorian townhouse in South Liverpool. 3 guest rooms; ground floor single, second floor double & a super-kingsize. The host has provided a temporary home to actors, artists musicians & guests from across the world since 1999 the owner is an artist & an Airbnb super-host. All rooms have a table to work at, good mattresses & are spacious quiet & comfortable. The house has fast broadband, south facing garden, on street parking, & room for bikes. Short walk to parks, pubs, cafes, river & city centre. In the rescued Welsh Streets near Ringo Starr's birthplace. Princes Park is a 3 minute walk away so it's a popular base for runners and walkers. Also close to Sefton Park & Lark Lane cafes and bars. Both parks have birdlife lakes. Close to historic architecture, food outlets, supermarkets & international food stores. On a main bus route to the city centre theatres; bus numbers 80, 80a, 75, 26 and 27 buses. No night bus. Cabs to town are about £7

Lockable second floor double room, in three storey spacious townhouse. Use of well equipped ground floor kitchen diner, that double as a social space. Six ring stove, microwave, defined grocery and fridge space. Outdoor patio garden with benches and table for smoking or eating or sitting to enjoy the plants. (no smoking, vaping, candles, incense of plus in diffusers indoors)
Two shared toilets one on the first floor with full bath and power shower, one on the ground floor with electric shower. You would be sharing the artist's home possibly with other guests, and her adult son, who is a chef.

Other rules
Shoes are permitted on the ground floor only where the wood and tiled floors are easy to clean. No shoes allowed upstairs. Dishes to be washed and dried by guests immediately after meals are finished, stove and surfaces wiped down and floor swept if needed. That way nobody has to wait to cook or clean up after others. Noise to be kept to a minimum between 10 pm and 9 am as some people work early shifts. All doors and windows must be closed and locked when guests leave the house. All guests to be considerate when using shared facilities and tolerant of each other's beliefs.

Lateef was a great guest, friendly neat and tidy, and a clear communicator. I guess he found the scenic route to the theatre. It's generally a 30 minute walk to town, 15 minutes by cab, about 20 by bus.
Nina was a great host, friendly and informative. The room was very spacious and very stylish and the house all situated, close to Princes Park and Sefton Park and a short walk to the river, with a good, reliable bus service to the city centre. I'd recommend anyone to stay here who wants a balance of convenience and space.

Enjoyed having Patrick here as a guest. He is a friendly, interesting, tidy quiet and humorous person. Managed to get up and down the stairs silently which is a skill in itself. Left the room spotless, great communication, will always be welcome. 18 May
