Living with Host
The large, bright, spacious bedroom and private en-suite shower room, is situated on the third floor, the lounge should you wish to use it during the day is on the second floor, with kitchen and wc on the ground floor.
Our home is a 4 story town house with views directly onto the canal and open fields, yet we are just 20-30min walk along the canal or main road, or 5-10min drive, to the theatre. HP20 1AQ
The house is in a very quiet cul-de-sac, we both work during the day and no children in the house, so it is perfect for getting plenty of rest between your shifts.
Kitchen access 24hrs a day. We respectfully request that all main meal preparation is completed prior to 9:30pm. You are very welcome to “heat and eat” in the evening, we simply request that noise is kept to a minimum after 9:30pm. High quality pans, knives, and bake ware.
Induction hob, oven, microwave, slow cooker, pressure cooker, toaster, kettle and cafetière.
Washing machine.

One designated, free off road parking space is available.
We have an electrical vehicle charging point (additional cost).
The Area and Transport
It is easy to walk to the theatre, either along the canal (30mins) and very pretty, or the main road (20mins). To drive it’s 5-10 min depending on traffic. Our post code is HP20 1AQ
Lidl is 3min walk, Tesco 10min walk – both on route to the theatre.
There is a lovely “village pub” 15min walk away, with a big beer garden and a firm favourite with locals for Sunday lunch. The Dog House
A new McDonalds is a 5min walk away – luckily we can’t smell the cooking 😉
There are a number of busses which run close to here and the theatre. They are relatively expensive, at circa £4 for the short journey, so we would recommend walking to the theatre along the canal, because it’s pretty, then back along the main road, as it is well lit and a safe and easy walk. We will provide bus and taxi information upon your booking confirmation.

The entire house is clutter free, with plenty of space. We do have an additional room (not listed) that could be used for a child, or they can share with you. We are the only people living in the house and no other regular visitors. There are plenty of open spaces and parks close by and it's lovely to watch the waterbirds on the canal.

These digs were amazing, they really have thought of everything to make the stay easier, the room on the 3rd floor is also lovely and spacious, with its own bathroom. The theatre is either an easy walk, and theres a nice route along the canal. Both lovely and safe.
I was really made to feel at home and welcome, and Luther the cat has a mew that will melt you immediately.
