Living with Host

What does this mean?

Guest on Bedroom is on the ground floor with double bed and blackout curtains and blind. The guest shower/bathroom is adjacent, it is occasionally used by grandchildren when they visit sometimes otherwise only for your use.
We have both been theatre people ourselves so understand and feel for your needs.
You have limited use of the modern kitchen on the floor above with microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge but no freezer, no hob and no oven. Use of the front garden with table and chairs.
Bedding, towels provided and washing machine and dryer available.
Our property is within the Summerhill Conservation area.
We’ve been hosting theatre and music guests since 2018.
We like you to feel that we are sum sympathetic to theatre and musical creatives and do not want you to feel we’re just a business, this is our home and as such we want you to feel at home during your stay. Yes we are required to set rules but rules need to respect and respond to circumstance

Guest Parking

Parking requires a permit. Guest permit provided free of charge. Please request permit before arrival.

The Area and Transport

There are buses into town every 10 minutes and walking into town and The Theatre Royal is 20 minutes the main station is 12 minutes walk.

Such a lovely couple to stay with. Very communicative, friendly, chatty, welcoming. I had use of my own bathroom downstairs. The room has enough storage for my things. The distance to the theatre is easy by walking or jumping in a 5 minute taxi. I will definitely be coming back!! The house is gorgeous and interesting too!!

Lovely place to stay! Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, wonderful bathroom, no complaints at all. Paul and Marina were both lovely too. Only a short walk to the Theatre Royal and train station too.
