A great central yet peaceful location only yards away from the Woolpack pub, Bolton Stores corner shop and The Green Room café, plus there's the Christchurch Mansion tea room by the Round Pond in the park for quiet contemplation to set you up for the day.

One of the writer/performer owners has worked as a DSM and appreciates what makes good digs.

Egyptian cotton bed linen, towels, tea, proper coffee provided.

Use of kitchen (simple meals), microwave and garden breakfast room.

Use of washing machine & dryer during daylight hours (solar panels). Owner happy to set up laundry with guest.

Central heating and we even do hot water bottles on request.

Smoking allowed in the garden.

On street parking (limited free parking up by Christchurch Park). If arriving on a weekday by car, please try to get here before 4.30pm or after 6pm due to parking restrictions or make a swift luggage drop-off before parking up.

We are strongly aware of the dangers of Covid and take it very seriously, so ventilation, masks and social distancing are key to protecting both guests and ourselves.
Between guest stays we throw open the windows and put on a fan to change the air in the room.
We vacuum, dust and clean light switches & handles with antibacterial wipes - there's also a pack of wipes in the bedroom as well as hand sanitiser in the entrance hall and shower room for guest use.
Sheets, duvet cover and towels are freshly laundered.
Private shower room walls, floor, sink, taps & light pull switch are cleaned after every stay.
We can provide masks for use in the kitchen (unless window is open and extractor on) and lugging cases up the stairs.
