Self-Contained
Self contained one bedroom Coachhouse with access to beach walks, and easy links to Cardiff. Use of hot tub hidden in a secluded corner of the garden.
Our cute coach house has everything that you need for an easy stay and enjoyable, place to unwind in any spare time. It can sleep up to 4 people: 2 in the first floor bedroom and 2 on the sofa bed in the main living area for shorter periods of time.
The coach house has black out blinds and a sofa bed in the living/kitchen area. There is a shower room and kitchen on the ground floor with the bedroom on the first floor. It should be noted that this is accessed by steep paddle stairs.
The kitchen area has a fridge, microwave and one-ring induction hob.
Guest Parking
Guest parking is in the lane at the rear of the property with access to the coach house.
The Area and Transport
Our house is situated on Barry Island and the accommodation is a self-contained 2 story coach house at the bottom or our garden with independent access from the rear lane.
We are situated on the top of a cliff with Jackson’s Bay below us and Whitmore Bay (The Main beach) a five minute walk away.
Barry Island train station is a short walk away with links to Cardiff Central station.
Cardiff Bay is a twenty minute drive.
There is a wonderful coffee shop and bakery around the corner and a great local cafes on Barry Island.
There is a sauna with sea views to rent on Jackon’s Bay and a bar and restaurant at Barry Yacht club.

Shared and Excluded Facilities
This space is not shared with anyone else.
The coach house is for the exclusive use of the guests with a lockable front door. The guest/guests have exclusive use of the two story coach house which features one bedroom on the first floor and a living room/kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor.
Access is through the rear lane which is independent of the main house.

The Host states that their property supports accessibility
The property is accessible but this would mean not using the upstairs bedroom and instead using the sofa bed which would make the space much smaller. Please note that the stairs to the first floor are paddle stairs and extremely steep.
The Host states that their property offers a child-friendly environment
We have had children staying here and they are welcome but please note that the to the first floor are very steep and therefore the property is not suitable for young children.
