Living with Host

What does this mean?

We offer a quiet and comfortable room in a Georgian terrace with a view out onto a walled garden. Full use of kitchen and dining room as well as a shared bathroom. A short and direct bus route to theatres.

Guest Parking

We not longer have unrestricted parking in our street but it is still possible to park free in nearby streets like Pitt Street and South Fort Street.

The Area and Transport

Our neighbourhood is a quiet and friendly part of the city and very close to the Leith harbour area and all its attractions. We are on a direct bus route to both the Playhouse and Festival Theatres and not far from a tram stop to the city centre and airport. From 24 July 2026 City of Edinburgh Council will charge a 5% visitor levy for the first 5 consecutive nights' stay.

I had a lovely stay at Annie & John's home. The room is quiet, comfortable and really nicely decorated, as is the whole house. It's in a a great location with buses and trams a short walk away. I'll 100% stay again the next time I'm in Edinburgh! Thanks for having me!
