Ian & Matt have travelled the world working in theatre and on world class stadium events. From West End musicals and plays to international productions in Australia, Asia, Europe & South Africa; Olympic & Commonwealth Ceremonies in Athens, Vancouver, Delhi, Sochi, Birmingham and London not forgetting several Royal events at Buckingham Palace and Windsor!
A bright, spacious, comfortable book lined house in a great location. Built as a boathouse and service building c.1860, Ian & Matt have lovingly converted their mews style house into a warm, relaxed and stylish home which is a haven of retreat and calm.

Guest Parking
Traveling by train you can arrive in to Brighton or Hove station.
A direct bus service (No 6) from Brighton station will drop you at the top of the street.
Taxis from either station will take only 5 mins and cost around £7.00 - £8.00 depending on the time of day.
Parking is quite restricted in this great city. We can provide you with parking vouchers (1 per day required) to park locally. Let us know in advance how many you may require. We will have them ready for your arrival - a small change for these - contact direct for more information. Occasionally we can offer free parking - subject to length of stay and size of car!
Bus stops at the top of the street will connect you directly to within yards of Theatre Royal and Dome complex. It's a terrific frequent service.
The Area and Transport
Turn left out of the house & it’s just a minute’s walk to the beach or right to the excellent independent shops & restaurants. The heart of the city and its theatres and conference venues are only a 15 / 20 minute walk along the sea front or a 5 minute bus ride away.
The city has many excellent independently owned cafes and restaurants; just around the corner from the house you have Salvage Café & Market. Two very different establishments worth a visit. Of course, you are most welcome to help yourself to as much tea or coffee from our large selection in the kitchen - great coffee from the Algerian Coffee Store, Bar Italia and the Nespresso machine.
Our street is positioned to the side of Palmeira Square, leading down from Western Road to the seafront. Stroll along the seafront and only 8/10 minutes away (towards the centre) the Regency Square an old favourite of Brighton: The Regency fish restaurant.

Terrific guests. A joy to have in our home in Brighton!
A fantastic few weeks staying with Matt and Ian in their stunning home!
They made me and my other half feel incredibly welcome. The house is immaculate & peaceful & i had some lovely chats with Matt and Ian. I do hope we get to do it again sometime!

my favourite digs, beautiful, luxurious,calm, a quiet,bedroom, great ensuite and shower, fantastic, comfortable bed, lovely hosts, theatre books, posters everywhere, fantastic location for beach or short bus into town, or walking. Brilliant!

Easily 5 stars. I couldn't wish for better digs!! Staying with Matt and Ian last week was wonderful. These are perfect digs for Brighton and certainly one of the best digs I've ever stayed in, I didn't want to leave! Can't recommend it enough!
