This is a large, airy room in a recently fully refurbished Victorian terraced house, walking distance from York city centre.

The room has a single bed, chest of drawers, fitted desk and large TV. It's only recently been totally redecorated, including new carpet. Shared bathroom downstairs, along with lounge, dining / dayroom and attractive rear yard. On street parking in quiet neighbourhood.

Not too far from city centre and on a main bus route into town - the nearest stop is a minute away. There's a local shop just around the corner and the whole area is very quiet. Please pay on arrival.

Room was delightful, host was quite knowledgeable about location and a delight to have a chat with. All facilities were wonderfully maintained. Can be a bit of a longer walk to location but was no problem at all, would stay at again!

Lovely stay with Jerry! Made to feel very welcome. Less than 10 minute bus ride into the Opera house and a very cheap Uber home.

Jerry was a wonderful host. His kindness and consideration made living away from home feel like I wasn't. The room was cosy and provided everything I needed to be comfortable with plenty of space left over. He created space throughout the rest of the house for me to store things too so that I wasn't just cooped up in one room, and he actively encouraged me to feel a part of the household and to make good use of the shared spaces. Clean, comfortable and only a 30 minute walk into town. Perfect!!!

Jerry was lovely & easy to deal with, very accommodating and even left a beer out for me when I got back late. The room was very comfortable, a great size with all the facilities I could need. There’s on road parking as well which was great!
